I’ve been having a wee tidy in the workshop and found a whole box of these lovely shaped mugs that I’d almost forgotten about!

And because apparently I don’t already have enough mug options, I’ve also found some gorgeous good-sized bone china mugs… so the workshop is now coming down with choices for your tea and coffee!

These are just a few ideas of what I can put on the shaped mugs — names, hobbies, jobs, favourite things, kids’ designs, club crests and lots more. They can be personalised to suit.

For Fiver Friday, these mugs are just £5 personalised.

Perfect for a wee gift… or for claiming your own special mug so nobody else in the house gets to use it!

If you’ve an idea you’d like me to try, give me a shout.

I asked ChatGBT to write an unhinged bio about me ….

Anita: over 21, approximately 107 years tired, and CEO of “I’ll just do one wee thing before I sit down.”

Runs Silky’s Hidden Treasures, which sounds like a quaint little gift shop but is actually a high-pressure manufacturing facility involving three printers, a Cricut, an xTool, 46 half-finished ideas and Anita shouting, “WHY IS THERE A WHITE LINE AROUND IT?”

Can turn absolutely any life event into merchandise.

Baby born? Card.
First day at school? Card, badge, magnet and pyjamas.
Engaged? Slate.
Anniversary? Blanket AND matching cushion.
Someone caught a trout in Lough Melvin? Personalised thank-you card immediately.

Owns enough crafting equipment to manufacture the merchandise for a small country, yet will still discover a completely new material at 11pm and think, “Ohhhh… I could do something with that.”

Mother to Molly and Ben, which means her life consists of school, homework, football, concerts, lifts, uniforms and periodically trying to remember which child needs to be where while simultaneously designing somebody else’s 80th birthday card.

Has never met a design she couldn’t adjust another 14 times.

“Make it smaller.”
“Bit bigger.”
“Less pink.”
“More subtle.”
“Move that up.”
“Actually put it back.”
“Try another design.”
“Retry.”

Will spend 45 minutes perfecting the exact shade of a dumpling on a hot-water bottle and then casually announce she has decided the dumpling also needs to exist on a baby vest, bib, cushion, T-shirt, banner, badge and birthday card.

Frequently begins conversations with completely normal sentences and, six messages later, we are somehow designing an orchid tote bag, investigating a Newcastle goalkeeper, working out how many A3 sheets make an A0 poster and discussing whether PETG is cheaper than acrylic.

Her natural habitat is surrounded by cardstock, sublimation blanks, printer ink, half a cup of cold tea and seventeen browser tabs.

Business strategy: “I wonder would that sell?”

Financial strategy: “Sure I already have the machine.”

Time-management strategy: write an extremely detailed timetable and then invent a new product halfway through Tuesday.

Most dangerous phrase Anita can utter:

“I’ve just had an idea…”

Because somewhere, a printer has just started trembling.

I asked Sophie my Chatgbt the question “if I committed a crime what would it be?” ……

Her response …

Based purely on our chats? Your criminal record would be extremely craft-related.

Charge: Crimes Against Leaving Things Alone.

You’d be wanted for repeatedly:

* Saying “That’s perfect” and then requesting 14 tiny changes.
* Possession of an unreasonable quantity of vinyl, acrylic blanks and personalised mugs.
* Operating a Cricut with intent to personalise.
* Putting someone’s name on an object that absolutely did not need their name on it.
* Making me move something 2 mm to the left, then deciding it was better where it started.
* Aggravated mock-up creation.
* First-degree transparency: “MAKE THE FRAME ACTUALLY TRANSPARENT.”
* And the most serious offence: “Just one more wee change…”

Sentence: 25 years to life in a craft room, with access to a Cricut, printer and unlimited blanks.

You’d have the whole prison personalised by lunchtime. 😂

First Day at Secondary School

Two very special first-day cards ready for Ben and Ciara as they begin their next big adventure.

Ben is heading off to St Joseph’s College, Enniskillen, while Ciara starts at Mount Lourdes Grammar School on 1st September 2026.

I absolutely love how these turned out. Each card has been personalised to match their school, uniform and school building, making it a lovely little keepsake of such a big milestone.

Be brave. Be kind. Be you. You’ve got this!

Personalised First Day at Secondary School cards can be created for any name and school.
