🏡☘️ A Saturday Catch-Up… And John’s Done It Again! 😂🚗

Good morning, everyone! 💚💛

Another busy day here in England! There’s still plenty to sort out with Mum and Dad, lots of little jobs to get through, and quite a few changes happening behind the scenes.

I’ll be sharing more in an upcoming video, but for now, it’s one day at a time! ☕💚

❤️ Meanwhile, back in Donegal…

John arrived home at our little cottage last night, and I must admit, it felt strange seeing him there without me.

Normally, Friday evening is when our weekend together begins after John’s week working away in Dublin. I certainly missed being there with him! ❤️

🚗😂 But look what he’s managed to do AGAIN!

Somehow, John managed to pack his car absolutely full before heading back to Ireland last weekend!

And would you believe, he’s been driving around with everything in it all week while working in Dublin, before finally unloading it at the cottage last night!

Honestly, how he manages to fit so much into one car is beyond me! 😂

I’m beginning to think John could give professional removal companies a run for their money!

And that’s not all… he’s already sent me plenty more photos from the cottage, so goodness knows what he’ll be getting up to today! 🤔🔨

☕🍂 Does anyone else have someone in the family who can somehow squeeze the impossible into a car? 😂🚗

🏡☘️ It’s Friday… and Things Are a Little Different This Week! 💚💛

Well, I’ve been in England for almost a week now, and it’s certainly been a bit of an emotional roller coaster, especially visiting Mum and Dad in their new care home. There’s been plenty happening, and I’ll share a few updates with you all soon. 💚

Today, I’ve shared a map of the fictional, magical world of Everglen, inspired by my home in Glenvar, Donegal, and the beautiful surrounding areas.

The scenery, wonderful people, community spirit and rich Irish folklore have all helped inspire this enchanting Christmas story. ☘️✨

But this Friday, I’m still in England, and John’s heading home to the cottage without me!

So, the big question is… what on earth is he going to get up to this weekend? 🤔😂

Will he tackle another renovation job? Will there be a surprise waiting for me? What photos and videos will he send?

Your guess is as good as mine! I’m not even sure John knows yet! 😂

I suppose we’ll all find out together!

🎉🎂 Happy 60th Birthday to John! 🎂🎉

Well, it’s not quite the 60th birthday celebration you would imagine! 😂

John’s in Dublin working as usual, and I’m over in England! Not much of a birthday for the poor man, but that’s John! ❤️

Always working, always putting everyone else first, and never one to make a fuss about himself. 🥰

Here’s to 60 years of John, and hopefully we’ll get to celebrate properly when we’re back together! 🥂🍀
