Our first igloo spa, set up for a girls’ celebration that leaned into what they actually love right now.

Skincare laid out, soft lighting, space to sit, chat, and take their time with it. Even the slippers had their moment.

Times have changed and the girls have evolved: gone are the trips to town, and occasional cinema treat!

They want to hang out, look after themselves, feel a bit grown up, and have something that feels like theirs.

That was the brief for this setup. A space they settled into straight away, where the energy stayed easy and the whole thing just flowed.

Based on the glowing review, we’ll definitely be doing more of these!

We’re really looking forward to seeing you at Flesk Fest!

On Friday 19th June, we’ll be bringing our touch to the Summer Soirée in the marquee at Barraduff Community Field, dressing the space in style, ready for the evening to unfold.

Then on Sunday 21st June, we’ll be back for the Family Fun Day, and this time we’re bringing a few extra guests with us … our alpacas will be making an appearance, which we already know is going to be a highlight for the little ones!

Being part of events like this matters to us. Supporting the local community, showing up, and creating spaces where people can come together and enjoy it properly.

Celebrations are starting to look a little different. It’s not about where you go anymore, it’s how it feels.

This 21st was a perfect example of that. A familiar space, completely transformed into something that was unique, elevated, and a little unexpected! This giant igloo setup that created the energy of the night before anything even began.

A space that feels private, but still big enough for everyone to settle in, connect, and enjoy it properly. Add in a big screen and projector for music or match nights, a karaoke setup that keeps the energy going, and a styled bar area that keeps everything flowing, and the whole night starts to take on its own rhythm.

It’s a different way of doing it, and once you’ve experienced it, it’s hard to go back. We know this because of what our returning clients tell us!

An award tells you you’re doing something right (and I am so grateful).

The real win is what my clients have been telling me for years.
The mum who danced all night instead of watching from the sidelines.
The couple who said they hadn’t realised how much of a difference it would make until they saw it.
The parent who told me they actually got to be present at their own child’s birthday.
That’s what The Event Edit was built for.

It started in a very personal place. A busy mum of three who loved a celebration but kept finding herself on the wrong side of it ... making it happen instead of living it. I couldn’t find what I was looking for for my own children’s birthdays, so I created it. What I didn’t expect was how many families were looking for exactly the same thing.

Fast forward to today and we’re working with leading hotels and venues across Kerry, supporting families at weddings, celebrations, and events in a way that feels genuinely considered. We’re in our own HQ. We have a team I’m incredibly proud of.
And last week, I was recognised as the winner of the Kerry Business Woman for Services at the Connect Kerry Women in Business Awards.

That room deserved its own mention. Every finalist in that space was a woman who had identified a real problem and built something to solve it. Women balancing businesses with families, with commitments, with everything life asks of you at once. It reminds us why community matters and what becomes possible when we support each other’s dreams.

I’m proud of the award. And I’m prouder of what it represents.

To every client who trusted us with their celebration, and to every woman in that room on Friday night - thank you. You are the reason this exists.

Can’t believe I’m even writing this…… last night I won Kerry Business Women Services/Retail Award of the year.

To be nominated touched me, to be shortlisted humbled me but to win up against some seriously inspiring business woman honestly floored me.

Thank you so much to for what was a BRILLIANT event, room full of empowering women to be amongst you all was a true privilege.

This started at home.

With three children, winter birthdays, and that feeling that what was out there didn’t quite match the kind of memories we wanted to create.

So we did what we’ve always done: we made it ourselves.

Carina brought her background in early years and a deep understanding of how children experience the world. Mick brought the kind of hands-on energy that turns ideas into something real. Together, we created those first setups just for our own family, moments that our children still talk about now.

That’s where our business began.

What we realised very quickly is that it was never just about how something looked. It was about the people, the atmosphere, the ease and how our clients get to stay present in the moment.

That’s what we carry into every event we create.
Whether it’s a birthday at home or a wedding in a luxury venue, the intention stays the same. Your memories are our business, and we treat them with the care they deserve.
