My client had this beautiful pine table which was varnished orange pine. What a revelation when it was stripped to the bare wood. I treated it with Rubio Monocoat oil in colour cloud. This stuff is unreal! It is not cheap and not for the faint hearted as once the oil is mixed with the accelerant you have approx 10 minutes to work it into the wood. But it is so hardwearing. I know as I have used it on my own kitchen table. I adore the finish, will be fabulous in my clients cottage kitchen
