This lovely boy is waiting to come in to CAW but we don't have a foster space available. Toby is a two year old Bichon Frise. Toby lives with a cat and has lived with a dog previously. His best friend is a Sh*tzu. He hasn't lived with kids bit has been around kids as young as seven.

Toby is being surrendered as he needs a secure garden. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Toby is a "non shed" dog.

If you can offer Toby a temporary place to live please fill in the attached form. We are hoping for a foster home in Clare or a neighbouring county.

This is one of those posts we really wish we didn’t have to write💔💔 Our adorable Rex had found himself a lovely home, but sadly, after a few months, he’s just come back into our care😔 His adopter is absolutely heartbroken, but she really tried everything to make things work. So, we’re hoping we can find this sweet fella the home that’s just right for him – please give him a share to help us find it🙏🙏🙏

Rex is a very handsome, 1-year-old Basset Hound X Collie – a “Basset Collie”, if you will! He’s a playful, energetic little character who loves having fun🎉

Unfortunately, Rex’s older, chilled-out doggy housemates were getting totally fed up with his antics, as he just wouldn’t stop trying to play with them. Rex did, however, get along fantastically with the younger, playful dog in the home who could match his energy. So we think he could happily live with another energetic dog who enjoys a good game. He’d also be perfectly happy as your one and only dog, getting all the attention and cuddles to himself🥰

And speaking of cuddles, Rex absolutely ADORES people. He’s super affectionate, very cuddly and just loves hanging out with his humans. He’s a quirky little character with a big personality, and he’s the sort of dog who will have you smiling at his antics every day😍

Rex can’t live with cats, and because he’s such a bouncy, playful fella, we’re also looking for a home without very young children – but he’s fantastic with kids over 8. He’s house-trained, great in the car, neutered, and so ready to belong again🥹

It’s such a shame that things haven’t worked out for Rex, especially when his adopter had grown so fond of him, but sometimes the right home isn’t necessarily the first home. Just LOOK at this absolute beauty😍 Gina is waiting patiently for her forever home – please give this gorgeous gal a share and help us find her people🙏🙏

Gina is such a sweet, affectionate, 2-year-old Kelpie who absolutely adores her humans. Once she gets to know you, she’s a real cuddle bug and will be very happy keeping you company and getting plenty of fuss🥰

She’s also great fun and absolutely LOVES playing fetch – in fact, she’s a little bit obsessed with it😂🥎 She enjoys getting out and about on her walks too, and is a fabulous little adventure buddy.

Gina was originally living on a farm and was meant to be a working dog, but she had other ideas! This clever girl decided that farm work wasn’t really for her and that she’d much rather be a much-loved family member. So she went on strike🙌

She can be a little selective about her doggie friends, but she would be happy to live with an easy-going dog. We’re be looking for a home without cats unless they’re very confident around dogs and aren’t likely to be bothered by Gina. As she’s a lively young girl, children over 12 would be best too.

Gina is a truly fantastic dog, and we can’t wait to see her settled into a home of her own where she’ll get plenty of walks, cuddles and, of course, all the fetch she could possibly want! She’s fully house-trained, good on the lead, and a great passenger in the car.

Tricks is just one year old and she really is a fantastic dog. She’s incredibly loyal, friendly and affectionate, and she’s the kind of girl who will quickly become your best friend. She absolutely LOVES her cuddles and bonds very quickly with her person🥰

She’s a young girl who certainly needs a bit of training, but she’s very food motivated and completely people focused, so she should be a dream to teach. She already knows how to sit and is mostly house trained – she just hasn’t really had anyone put the time into teaching her all the things she needs to know.

Tricks is great with other dogs and can also live happily with dog-savvy, confident cats🐈🐾 As a young Border Collie, she’ll need an active home where she’ll get plenty of exercise, attention and mental stimulation, as well as lots of love and companionship🐶💕

This beautiful girl has so much potential and, with someone willing to give her a little guidance, she’ll make an absolutely wonderful companion. She’s ready to find her person – and we’d love nothing more than to see her settled in a home where she’ll be loved for the rest of her life🏡💜

Say hello to our newest dreamboat, Mack👋😍 This lovely lad is on the lookout for his forever home – please spread the word for him! 🙏💕

This sweet-natured Lurcher was found on his own last week outside a Supermac’s, where he was politely asking customers if they could spare him some of their takeaway🥺💔 The poor fella was very skinny, and it was clear that he hadn’t been looked after properly before being left to fend for himself... The dog warden was called to help him, and because of where he was found, decided to call him Mack🐶

Despite everything he’s been through, Mack is the sweetest, friendliest, most affectionate boy🥰 His foster dad says he’s “SUPER cuddly” and “the BEST dog EVER”, and he’s not wrong! We think Mack is about 3 years old, which is a fantastic age – still a young lad, but well beyond the adolescent phase of his life😇

Mack loves playing with the dogs in his foster home, so we’d love to find him a home with another dog for company🐾 He’s super people-focused too, so he would likely be happy as your one-and-only, as long as he has human company for most of the day and plenty of daily fun and attention🥰

Like most Lurchers, Mack is gentle and sweet with kids. He hasn’t met any cats yet, though, so for now we’re looking for a cat-free home.

Morris is one of the sweetest boys we’ve ever had the pleasure of minding, and we can’t wait to find him a loving home of his own. Please give this gorgeous lad a share to help him find his special person! 🙏🏡💕

This utterly adorable, gentle and affectionate boy came into our care last week. The poor lad had been found straying – skinny, neglected and suffering from mange – but he’s now getting all the love, care and good food he missed out on for so long💔

Morris is only about 1 year old, and is a beautiful fawn Lurcher with the most handsome face. He’s incredibly people-focused, and gentle cuddles are his favourite thing in the whole wide world! Like most Lurchers, he adores his home comforts and will be more than happy to keep you company around the house as you go about your day🥰

Of course, being a young fella, Morris does love a good zoomies session🤩🐾 So we’d love to find him a home with a nice-sized garden where he can stretch his legs and have a good run. He’s very playful and gets along fantastically with all the dogs in his foster home, so ideally we’d love for him to have a canine companion or two🐶💕

His gentle, calm and playful nature makes him really great with kids. We haven’t tested him with cats yet, but we’d be happy to arrange a cat test for the right applicant. Morris is house-trained, a joy to walk on the lead, a fantastic passenger in the car, and his recall is already excellent too. He really is a dream dog😇

This gentle couch potato is sadly being kicked out of the only home she’s ever known, just because of her breed😔💔 We’re determined to find Bailey a loving home where she’ll never have to experience such upheaval again. Please give Bailey a share to help us🙏🙏

This cuddly, affectionate, 4-year-old Pitbull terrier will soon be coming into our care. Bailey is living in social housing, where Pitbulls aren’t allowed, and the county council have recently found out about her. Now her owner has been given just a few weeks’ notice to rehome her, meaning that Bailey is about to lose the only family she’s ever known💔

While it’s a heartbreaking situation, Bailey is such an easy-going girl that we know she’ll settle into a new home in no time. She’s pretty lazy, and as long as she has a comfy couch and someone to love and cuddle her, she’ll be happy out🥰🛋️

Bailey has been living with other dogs and she’s fantastic with them, so she can happily live with other dogs. But because she’s a low-energy girl, she probably wouldn’t appreciate living with very hyper dogs who might annoy her! She hasn’t lived with cats before, so we’re looking for a cat-free home. And because Bailey enjoys a peaceful life, we’re hoping for a home with no young children under 12.
Bailey is fully house-trained, travels well in the car, is very polite on the lead, and is easy-going around other dogs she meets on her daily walks🐾😊

Beautiful Basil is looking for a loving home of his own – can you give this uber-handsome boy a share to help him? 🥰🐾

Basil is a Wire Fox Terrier who’s about a year-and-a-half old, and one of those dogs who just LOVES being with his people. He’s incredibly affectionate, very cuddly and has the softest fur – so naturally, cuddles are a HUGE part of his daily routine😍

He’s also a playful, fun-loving boy and has been fantastic with the children in his foster home. He’s housetrained, walks well on the lead and he sleeps right through the night without a peep😇

Basil needs a cat-free home as he does like to chase the cats in his foster home. He gets on well with dogs his own size or bigger, but smaller dogs aren’t impressed with his enthusiasm😂 He can be a bit much for them, so we’re looking for a home with another dog or dogs his own size or larger. He’d also be perfectly happy being your one-and-only, getting ALL the cuddles and attention to himself🥰

This poor neglected girl has been rescued from a horrific situation this morning, where she had been lying in layers of rubbish and her own faeces in a backyard💔💔 She’s now safe with our vets in Ennis, but we urgently need to find her a foster home! Please share to help us find a fosterer in Clare or a neighbouring county who can give this poor girl the care, kindness and TLC she so desperately needs🥺🙏

Ideally, we’d love to hear from someone with experience of Staffies, Pitbulls or other big dogs. Despite everything she has been through, this girl is incredibly sweet and timid. She really just wants someone to love her and give her all the care, good food, and affection she has missed out on for so long.

Even if you could foster her for just a week or two while we work out the next steps, you could make such a huge difference to her🏡

We’ll be considering foster homes in Co Clare or nearby counties, including Galway, Limerick and Tipperary. And if you might like to adopt this poor girl after a period of fostering, we can consider loving homes anywhere in Ireland (just let us know on the form). Our super-cute Sammy is modelling his new snood in the hopes that he’ll get noticed today🥹... Please give him a share and tell him how adorable he looks to help him find his forever family🙏🥰

Seriously though lads, how could anyone resist that little face😍?! Sammy is a tiny 6-month-old Whippet who came into our care after the poor lad was found straying and nobody claimed him. Thankfully, this little fella has landed in a wonderful foster home and has settled in like he’s always lived there. His foster mammy absolutely adores him and says he’s one of the sweetest, most fun little dogs ever🥰

Sammy is incredibly friendly, affectionate, and full of beans, and he is having the BEST time with resident terrier Buddy. The two of them are firm friends and spend their days playing, zooming around the garden, and snuggling up together for down time🐶🥰

It’s also made it very clear just how much Sammy loves having another dog around – so we feel that living with a friendly canine companion is ESSENTIAL for him. He’d love a playful dog or two to keep him company and have fun with.

Sammy also adores all the people he meets and absolutely loves cuddles, affection, and staying close to his foster mammy. He’s such a lovely little character – playful and hilarious one minute, and looking for somewhere comfy to stretch out for a snooze the next😴💤

There’s just one thing Sammy isn’t particularly brave about – the neighbourhood cat😹! She sometimes wanders into the garden and Sammy’s usual response is to make a speedy dash back into the house. So we don’t think a home with cats would be the right fit for this little lad.

Sammy is now fully, house-trained, walks beautifully on the lead and is such a good boy in the car. Sammy really is such a wonderful little dog, and we’d love to see him find a home where he’ll have a canine best friend and plenty of affection from his person.
