Weekend Felted Slipper Workshop
Join Sandra Marschall and Belinda Reid at Hushabye Farm Alpacas.
Spend a relaxing and creative weekend learning how to make your own felted slippers using beautifully soft alpaca and sheep’s wool. Guided throughout the workshop, you’ll learn traditional felting techniques and leave with a unique handmade pair to take home.

After many hours of felting creating this work, my piece is now on display in the Feltmakers Ireland exhibition in Phoenix Park. Needle felted and wet felted using Māori wool.
Stolen Land/Stolen Lives
Inspired by the horror of the current war in Gaza, this piece reflects the intimate devastation of loss and displacement.
The tear’s downward flow evokes water: salty with sorrow, yet inherently healing. It becomes an act of cleansing, suggesting the possibility of restoration amid ruin.

I’m so excited to be exhibiting one of my pieces at the Feltmakers Ireland exhibition in Phoenix Park.

This year’s theme, Water and Flow, has inspired such a beautiful range of work. It’s been amazing to see how each artist has interpreted the idea in their own unique way.
Opening to the public this Thursday with the official opening on Saturday at 3pm. Pop in if you are in Dublin, the exhibition will run until the 26th April.

Thank you to all who joined my felting workshop on Sunday. Some lovely work by everyone and three returning participants! 7 year old Róisín was a first-time felter who came along with mum, aunt and granny, she really caught the bug and did some terrific pieces.
