MOMENTS OF CALM
From the instant we met our lovely clients, she was clear that although she wanted a neutral, calm interior, she also wanted soft,muted colour to work season to season.
Her previous decor was rich in tone with deep reds and luxurious golds and creams. Fabulous in the winter, especially at Christmas but it felt heavy in the Summer.
So we selected a neutral palette throughout the home, based on a foundation of the fail proof Portland Stone family from for walls, ceilings, woodwork and cabinetry. We brought warmth into the open plan kitchen living space by introducing Olivine from on the generous island, a most beautiful deep green with blue undertones.
We followed this by pulling these tones into cushions and accessories in the living area, just enough to give interest and connection throughout the space.
There are lots more clever details in this space, but for now, enjoy these moments of calm.
