Thanks to the lovely attendees of our first workshop in the Embodied Alchemy series. 💐
Honoured to be part of the process of co-creation.🙏

The Earth element got us deep into our creativity and grounded movement. You never know what will emerge when you give yourself the freedom to be present & alchemise. Love to see how everyone has a unique sense of expression and interpretation of materials.

Spraoi Le Chéile - Honoured to launch this beautiful exhibition The Linenhall, Castlebar on behalf of the wonderful team at Le Cheile FRC Castlebar who spearheaded this joyful creative project .

Mothers and their young babies and toddlers were given the opportunity and, most importantly, time to create, play, and connect. The results are just gorgeous.

Art is such a big part of family life when the kids are small. Colouring, play doh, crafts, and plenty of sticky fingers. Try take a moment to savour their imagination and the magic world's they build because it doesn't take long for society to tell them that things aren't valuable unless they are perfect. Remind the little ones and big ones that creativity is about the process and not the outcome. ✨️🌸

Reclaiming Your Inner Child✨️

I started painting as an adult because it was the only way to calm my mind. For a long time, being engrossed in colour and the movement of my paint brush was the only time I felt peace. Delving into my spirituality and embodiment are also integral in my practice. These lived experiences inform every aspect of how I teach and hold space.

In a world of perfectionism and productivity, we miss out on the sheer delight of play without purpose. I always tell my students that the outcome is not the be-all and end all. It is how you feel throughout the process. When we let go of expectations, we give space for something new to arise. A part of our selves that is hidden.

We cannot just think our way through life. We must feel it through our bodies. Art, in whatever form, allows our nervous system to relax and process. It gives our subconscious time to breathe and reconnect with our inner child.

I am currently developing Embodied Art workshops.
