New Ross Needlecraft New Ross Needlecraft Ltd (formally known as the Ros Tapestry Project Ltd) is a community-based company. Located in New Ross.

Located in New Ross it's aim is the completion, conservation and exhibition of the Ros Tapestry and its new tapestry titled 'Threads of Friendship'. It also seeks to promote the craft of crewel embroidery, tapestry, other forms of needlework in the interpretation of our local heritage. The Ros Tapestry is made up of 15 panels which were stitched by over 180 volunteer stitchers over the past 25 yea

rs. The last panel is currently being completed by our Kilkenny stitchers, in Rothe House, Kilkenny. The Threads of Friendship Tapestry is made up of 2 panels, which are being stitched by our New Ross stitchers, in our workshop at 14 The Quay, New Ross. The Ros Tapestry is on exhibition on a temporary basis in Kilkenny Castle and will return to its permanent home in the new Norman Centre being developed in the Murphy Building, in New Ross.

Dear Followers, Friends & Supporters,
Hope you had a happy and peaceful Easter. Now that the Ros Tapestry is back in New Ross, we are preparing our temporary exhibition centre to be opened in May 2025. We are still fundraising to make this all happen. We know you have helped us so much in the past, so we are asking you to pass on this message to your friends, family, members of the the New Ross Diaspora wherever they are in the country or the world.
