Comission to restring a double row pearl bracelet. The whole bracelet has to be taken apart and restrung from the start. Each pearl has a knot in between. This is because pearls were so expensive in the old days that if the necklace broke you only lost one pearl. Silk thread is used and doubled back through each pearl hence the whole thing has to be restrung
