The day-of stationery is what guests experience on the day. That is why it deserves the same level of attention to detail as your wedding invitations. 💌

Your invitation is the first glimpse your guests get of the celebration, and your day-of stationery is what they actually experience when they arrive: the menus they pick up, the place cards that guide them to their seats, the table numbers, ceremony booklets, signage and all those small details that help the day flow smoothly.

It’s also where I think having a stationer who is familiar with your venue and location can make a real difference, particularly for destination weddings.

When you’re planning from abroad, having someone local working on your paper goods means there’s someone nearby to make sure everything arrives perfectly and deal with those last-minute details that are much easier to sort when your stationer is actually in the same location.

And then there’s the creative side. I love taking the visual language of the decor and carrying it through to the wedding day, so that when guests arrive, everything feels part of the same story.

For me, that’s what makes day-of stationery so much more than a collection of pretty papers. It becomes part of the atmosphere, helps guests know where to go and what’s happening, and adds those small personal touches that make a wedding feel like your wedding. 🤍

Kind words that remind me why I love designing wedding stationery so much.

It's easy to think of stationery as something you send or something you place on a table. But for me, it's about telling a story and reflecting the couple's personal style and traditions.

It's the place card someone takes home. The menu that completes the table. The handwritten details that make everyone feel personally welcomed.

For this wedding, I created a ceremony booklet that shared the history of Powerscourt Estate alongside the story behind the Sofreh table (a millenary Persian tradition) and the meaning of each element within it. For guests to take a moment to discover something new and connect with a tradition that was new to many of them was incredibly special.

Supper Stories at Chupi! ✨️

Last month, I was invited to an intimate evening at Chupi | Fine Jewellery & Engagement Rings HQ, a tertulia that brought together a small group of women working across the Irish wedding industry.

It was thoughtfully hosted by Chupi Sweetman, Studio Grace, Flower Pop and Folkster Bridal 🤍

The supper itself was catered by The Pepper Pot, a delicious dinner made with seasonal and locally produced ingredients. All this happened with conversations and inspiring stories around the table, with such openness in the room, everyone sharing ideas, experiences, and the realities of running creative businesses.

I also had the pleasure of creating the menus and hand-calligraphed place cards to complement the gorgeous tablescape by Grace Cahill, with the most beautiful flowers by Flower Pop. Each flower at the table was seasonal and grown in Ireland, which was very special to learn.

As a backdrop was a curated selection of bridal gowns by Folkster Bridal and of Chupi's distinctive jewellery.

I also got to meet in person for the first time a super talented calligraphy I admire and who has been always a reference in the idustry for many years. ✨️

I'm grateful to the hostess and everyone involved for creating the space for conversations and moments like this to happen. In an industry built around celebrating people, it's nice to be reminded that we can celebrate each other too.

I left feeling inspired, encouraged, and even more convinced that some of the best memories happen around a table! 🤍

The last two weeks have been a roller coaster of emotions because of the earthquakes that struck Venezuela, changing forever the lives of hundreds of thousands.

According to data from the U.S. Geological Survey, the twin earthquakes released a combined seismic energy equivalent to approximately 260 Hiroshima atomic bombs. Just think about that for a moment.

The day of the catastrophe, I couldn’t reach my mum and siblings in Venezuela, which made the situation more worrying. When communications were finally reestablished, I learned her house was severely damaged, but I was relieved to know they were safe.

Then, when the consequences of the disaster started to show up, I was, and I still am, heartbroken as many of you.

Just to think that three years ago, Gerry, my family, and I shared the most fulfilling holidays in La Guaira, Venezuela, the city where the quakes hit hardest, knowing now that people were trapped under rubble in that warm, lively, and welcoming city created a feeling of helplessness that is hard to put into words.

The UN and UNICEF have reported 55,000 people missing, over 3,800 dead, 680,000 children affected, and thousands of pets with no place to go.

And everything happened in less than a minute. It’s like apocalyptic scenes in a country that has already been shaken for a long time.

News moves quickly, but for us, this tragedy marks a before and after. It makes us realise how life can change forever in a matter of seconds.

That's why enjoying your loved ones, hugging them, and being activaly present is more important than anything else in life.

My mum and her husband are already in a new home that my siblings and I managed to rent as soon as we found a suitable place for them. It will be a new start, but after seeing so much pain, we feel grateful nothing worse happened to them.

For now, Venezuela International Airport remains closed, and commercial flights are suspended. Still, I cannot wait to hold them tightly.
