I know that there are a lot of demands on people's resources at the moment, with all that's happening in the world, but MND hasn't gone away. Anyone who was familiar with Joe's struggle with this terrible condition will be aware how cruel it can be.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated. I'll be doing the climb on the 2nd at Bray Head (the numbers allowed climb Croagh Patrick is limited to prevent damage to the mountain) but it will be nice to be back in my old stomping ground. The other charity involved is Pieta House, a charity which helps those who are in suicidal distress and engage in self harm, which unfortunately, is also familiar to many families,

Hi Everyone,
I haven’t posted in a while, but I’d like to let you all know that there will be a Clearance Auction of the entire contents of our shop, Waterford Antiques, 6 O Connell Street Waterford on 27th of July.
Those of you who knew Joe knew how much he enjoyed meeting all his customers, catching up with them and helping them choose an appropriate item to furnish their homes.
However, since Joe passed away in 2018, it seems inappropriate to continue the business, as Joe was the heart of the shop, so I have decided to put the contents up for auction.
I have posted a short video of the shop to give you an idea of the goods on offer, and a link to the auction website, where each item can be view individually.
I hope something catches your eye and the goods will be on view in the shop from Thursday 23rd to Sunday 26th from 12 – 4pm and the Auction itself will be held on-line from 10 am on Monday, the 27th of July

I would just like to let you all know that there is a walk for the Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association in New Ross on September 29th at 11 am in John F Kennedy Arboretum.

I will be taking part as Joe’s First Anniversary Mass is on the day before.

The beautiful, extending D-Sub Dining Table with Six original matching chairs is leaving today in time to make the new owner deliriously happy for Christmas (No, I can’t tell you the price – I’ve already told grown ladies before and it brought tears to their eyes – ‘Oh, My, She REALLY got a bargain. (it sould have been me, sniff)’
