A Final Chapter for ceMMent Design

Dear Friends,

After years of creation and an extraordinary journey, the time has come to close a significant chapter in my life and in the life of ceMMent Design.

ceMMent is my heart.

When I created the very first line over twenty years ago, it was an innovative and groundbreaking concept at the time: taking an unexpected material like concrete and bringing it into the world of design, home decor, and Judaica.

Throughout the years, I have been privileged to create a unique design language, to exhibit in Israel and around the world, to be selected for the permanent collection of the Jewish Museum in New York, and to meet so many people who connected with my work and the vision behind it.

The past few years have brought many changes to the world. Alongside global challenges, we continued to flourish, create contemporary design, exhibit internationally, and bring our work to new audiences, while continuing to offer a unique value that transcends time.

The path was filled with creation, experimentation, challenges, and deeply moving moments. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart, everyone who was a part of this journey: the customers, designers and architects, employees and friends, who accompanied ceMMent Design throughout the years.

On July 31st we will host an open studio sale. I would love for you to come to say goodbye, reminisce, and choose one last piece for yourselves. This will be a special opportunity to choose from the remaining pieces which represent a final, limited collection of items created over the years. In addition to the open day, you are welcome to visit or reach out over the next month.

For those of you abroad, we can of course ship worldwide, so please feel free to reach out with your final requests.

Thank you for your trust, appreciation, and connection to my work.

Its a true challenge, to design "Holocaust".
Not to be too literal yet evoke an emotion; to connect the past with the present; not to do do too much nor too little.

January 29th. I hope to see you there.

Join us for a meaningful Holocaust Remembrance experience at the Coconut Creek Government Center, centered on reflection, education, and remembrance. Admission is free; however, advance registration is required for both components, and space is limited.

Cattle Car Exhibition
12:30 PM – 5:00 PM
The program begins with the Hate Ends Now Cattle Car Exhibition, an immersive and impactful educational experience located in the Government Center courtyard at 4800 West Copans Road. Visitors will step inside an authentic replica of a World War II cattle car, where survivor testimony, narration, and multimedia elements convey the inhumane conditions endured by millions during the Holocaust. The exhibit fosters reflection, dialogue, and a deeper understanding of the consequences of hatred, antisemitism, and intolerance.
Advance registration is required. Viewings are scheduled in 30-minute intervals, and time slots must be reserved at CoconutCreek.gov/CattleCar.

Holocaust Memorial Unveiling
6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
The evening continues with the unveiling of the City’s first public Holocaust memorial installation at the Government Center. Titled Generations, the memorial was created by renowned artist Marit Meisler and is inspired by the Kindertransport. The work honors the resilience and enduring spirit of the Jewish people in the aftermath of the Holocaust and features silhouettes of children formed from solemn steel. These elements directly reference the Kindertransport memorials created by the artist’s father, Frank Meisler, creating a powerful multigenerational connection.
Advance registration is required, and seating is limited to 200 attendees. To register for the unveiling, please call 954-956-1580.

Both experiences are free and open to the public. Space is limited, and advance registration is required for each event.
