After studying Interior Design, I wanted some real hands-on experience, so I started working in a kitchen showroom.
It was one of the best foundations I could have had as a designer. I learned about measurements, layouts, storage, workflow and all the technical details that make a kitchen work well—not just look good.
More than 15 years later, kitchens are still some of my favourite spaces to design. They are often the heart of the home, where families gather, cook, work, chat and spend time together.
Looking back at this selection of kitchens I’ve designed over the years, I don’t just see cabinetry, worktops and appliances. I see the people behind them—most of whom became friends along the way. I remember the meetings spent comparing colour samples, debating handles and worktops, refining layouts, and discussing how each family would live in the space. It was never just about designing a kitchen; it was about creating a room that felt right for the people using it every day.
Every kitchen tells a story, and it’s a privilege to have been part of so many.
