I thought about this drawing for a while from the beginning of the year, year of fire horse. Now I had a time in the long travel journey home. Inspired by poster I wanted to create something similar and yet different. What do you think?

Catherine O’Hara was a huge inspiration for me — from Home Alone, which I grew up with, to The Studio, her final series.

She brought me joy, laughter, and a depth of acting that always felt honest. I believed her on screen — every time — and I already miss her.

The inspiration for this drawing comes from the work of Roy Lichtenstein and the iconic Home Alone scene where Kevin’s mother desperately tries to call home. That moment has always stayed with me.

I hadn’t drawn for a long time, and somehow you brought me back on track.
This drawing is my way of saying thank you.

Thank you for an incredible life, for the light you gave us, and for the inspiration you left behind.
Rest in peace.
