Rawa idli made easy..
Serving 6 nos

Cook 15 -18 min.
Ingredients:
Rawa/ semolina medium 3cups
Oil 3 tsp
Mustard leaves
Curry leaves
Channa daal/chickpea lentils 2 tsp
Cashew nuts
Grated carrots 3
Curd 2 cups
Salt
Soda 1 tea spoon
Water as required
Take a kadai, heat oil, let the mustard seeds sputter, add channadal, let it turn golden colour add cashew nuts, curry leaves and then add grated carrot, mix everything well and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
After this is cooled down add semolina and curd, mix all to a idli batter consistency (let it be a little thick, not runny),
Let it rest for 30 minutes and then add salt and soda diluted in little water, adjust the batter by adding water if needed.
Grease oil onto the idli making plates, then pour the idli batter and steam for 15 to 18 minutes, check the idli by piercing a wetted knife into the idli, if the knife comes out clean then they are ready to serve.
Now relish the rawa idli with coconut chutney.
