Excited to share my latest kitchen design project—a small space with big impact! 🤩
Client’s Brief 🎯
Create a sense of spaciousness in a compact 9x7 ft kitchen, with a look that stays modern for 5+ years and is also rental-friendly, since the clients plan to lease it out in the next 2–3 years..
The Challenges 🔧
• Maximize storage in a compact layout
• Balancing modern aesthetics with rental appeal
Design Solutions 💡
1️⃣ Storage: Overhead lofts and pull-out drawers instead of only traditional shutters for maximum functionality.
2️⃣ Color Strategy: A two-tone palette—Frosty white upper cabinets that blend with the ceiling for visual height, and Cappuccino lower cabinets matching the existing backsplash. Limiting colors creates the illusion of more space.
3️⃣ Low-Maintenance Finishes: Used glossy finish laminate—easy to clean and maintain, ideal for rentals and long-term durability.
4️⃣ Modern Interior Details: Handle-less upper shutters, slim edge-profile handles below, and black aluminum frames with brown-tinted glass add a contemporary yet timeless vibe.
