Malai Prawns 🦐 🍤 /Chingri malai curry🍤🦐
Ingredients:
500 gm Medium/large size prawns
1 medium size onion
1 tomato
1 tsp turmeric for frying and 1 tsp for curry
4-5 red chilli 🌶
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp kalaunji
1 tsp roasted cumin powder
1 tsp homemade garam masala
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp garlic paste for frying and 1.5 tsp garlic paste for curry
4 tbsp Oil
Salt as per taste
2 -3 tbsp fresh cream
Method:
1.Take a bowl and add cleaned prawns 🍤 and then add turmeric powder,salt,garlic paste and mix it nicely.
2. Now heat a kadhai and add 2 tbsp oil and then add prawns 🍤 to it.
3. Saute it for 2-3 mins both the side and keep it aside.
4. Take a mixer jar and grind onion,kalaunji,ginger.keep it aside
5. Again make tomato puree and keep it aside.
6. Add oil in the same kadhai and let it heat.
7. Now add the grinded masala along with turmeric powder,cumin powder,coriander powder,black pepper powder and salt to it.
8. Let the masala cook for 5 min at medium low flame and then add tomato puree .
9. Now let the masala cook for 10-15 min at low flame and then add fresh cream to it and cook for another 2-3 min and switch off the flame.
10. Serve hot with butter naan.
