Three generations of beautiful women visited this week and it had us reflecting…

The Cannanore Shop is an expression of our own family’s deep connection with ancient Indian craft.

Our grandmothers and grandfathers before us (like most other Indian families) hand picked beautiful heirlooms - sarees, jewelry, furniture, & more - and passed it down to us, along with a firm belief that every day is meant to be celebrated through beauty. The beauty of craft.

Today, every piece in our home is a story to be told. Every painting is a memory - even the chairs and spoons!

When families like these walk in through our doors, it reaffirms that the work we do is not only for us - it’s for every generation that follows. ♥️

One of our favourite parts about having our store in Kannamangala, is that we also get to be an active part of our community. ✨

The Cannanore Shop maintains a donation-based ‘Gift Shelf’, contributes to the care of neighborhood dogs, and we’re the village’s cow watering hole - apart from being the go-to for home decor, clean self care products, and beautiful giftables.

That’s why, when we were invited to join the and .blr.hubba 2026 Rasthe Hubba in Kannamangala, we had to be there! 😍

Sharing our love for India’s rich and beautiful craft history, and our collective enthusiasm for the magical objects we enjoy as a result of it, is a joy that’s hard to replicate. Swapping stories of our grandmothers sarees and heirloom jewelry - these conversations are how we keep our love for craft alive. ♥️

Thank you to everyone who showed up - what a beautiful way to spend a weekend with our amazing neighbourhood!
