Many of us carry the belief that we deserve the very best—or nothing at all. Our expectations and pride often convince us that life owes us more than we have received.
But perhaps God doesn't give us what we desire; He gives us what we truly need and deserve at that moment. Even when we pray with complete sincerity, the blessings that come our way may not match our expectations. Instead of recognizing them, we reject them, believing something better should have arrived.
The tragedy is not that God failed to bless us—it is that we failed to recognize the blessings we already received.
Gratitude changes the way we see life. When we believe we've received less than we deserve, we overlook our blessings and create our own suffering. But when we believe we've received more than we deserve, every blessing becomes a gift, every moment becomes meaningful, and gratitude defines our life.
