Modern luxury isn't found in synthetic glitz, but in the honesty of materials.

It’s the coolness of a lime-plastered wall, the scent of reclaimed timber and the rhythmic texture of Earth.

We believe that the materials we live with should ground us. By returning to environmentally friendly raw materials, we create spaces that don't just look
beautiful, they feel alive.

Rooted in Earth. Designed for Life.

Let your home awaken your senses. Visit us to build with the honesty of raw materials

Several regions have already recorded temperatures between 43°C and 45°C as early as mid-April. Overcrowded housing, limited ventilation and heat-absorbing materials are making it nearly impossible to escape the heat.
We've been asking a different question for years: What if a home could resist heat without an air conditioner?
Castle Earth Bungalow in Bengaluru is our answer. Walls made from on-site soil that breathe and regulate humidity. Louvred windows that channel cross-breezes. Rainwater harvested, grey water reused. A home that works with climate, not against it.
8,000 sq ft. Zero imported materials. Built entirely by Indian hands.
This is what climate-conscious luxury looks like. Your home deserves to be designed for the climate it lives in.

At Earthenhive , sustainability isn’t an aesthetic choice; it’s a moral one.

“Whatever we do must work with nature, not against it.”

This vision comes to life in Castle Earth and Apartment 243 through materials like Athangudi tiles.

Known for their intricate patterns, these tiles are rooted in tradition yet seamlessly adaptable to modern design.

Why we choose them:
Handcrafted & Customizable: Tailored to every unique space.
Low Energy: Unlike mass-produced mosaic, they embrace a significantly more sustainable footprint.

Designing for a more responsible future, one tile at a time. Learn more about the Earthenhive method through our website.

EarthenHive Knowledge Walks Part 2 at Castle Earth was focused on exterior walkthrough, design philosophy and landscape.

The walkthrough began with the exterior, where students explored the design philosophy of Castle Earth—architecture shaped by climate, context, and narrative. The iconic wing-shaped roof introduced discussions on passive shading, solar integration, and rainwater harvesting.

The landscape was designed as an extension of the built form, allowing nature to flow seamlessly into the experience of the home. Native planting, shaded edges, and open breathing spaces highlighted how outdoor design contributes to comfort and sustainability.

This segment helped students understand how architecture starts from the site, not just from drawings.

As per recent research, material selection in 2026 is a data-driven workflow rather than a manual task. Smart Building Information Modeling (BIM) for material tracking allows for real-time carbon accounting now. Architects can now see how materials will perform, not just today but for decades to come. You must master these tools to stay safe from bad legal risks.

We recently hosted an engaging case study visit at Castle Earth for the students of PES University, accompanied by their faculty. What began as a planned walkthrough quickly evolved into an extended, highly interactive learning session, with students exploring the project through questions, observations, and discussions.

The introduction focused on sustainability and self-sufficient living, setting the context for understanding Castle Earth not just as a residence, but as a sustainable and self-sufficient narrative-driven home.

The concept of Castle Earth is rooted in four fundamental design pillars:
Earth, Water, Light, and Air — each shaping the spatial experience and environmental performance of the home.

True to its philosophy, the house is born from the very soil on which it stands, with materials sourced from the site itself, grounding the architecture both physically and symbolically.

This visit marked the beginning of a series of interactions aimed at connecting academic learning with built reality.

Stay tuned for Part 2 of the Walkthrough Series

Every brick, tile and finish now comes with a question: how much energy did it take, how long will it last, and what will it leave behind?
Globally, cement and steel alone account for roughly one-fifth of building-sector emissions, and in India buildings already contribute about a quarter of national emissions, putting materials at the heart of climate action.
From low carbon concretes to earth-based plasters, material research is reshaping the way we design and build for a lighter footprint.
At EarthenHive, we start with materials, choosing options that respect both the home and the earth it stands on.

For thousands of years, our spaces followed nature’s logic – shaped by sunlight, wind and local materials, creating homes that were naturally comfortable and sustainable.
At EarthenHive, we believe the most intelligent designs are still inspired by the earth itself.
Modern living, guided by timeless wisdom.
