Life disguises growth as failure

Speaking at TiECon 2026 was truly an incredible experience. It was inspiring to be in a room full of entrepreneurs, innovators, and leaders discussing how businesses evolve across generations and industries.

During the conversation, I spoke about my journey as a second-generation architect and an entrepreneur who has ventured into multiple businesses.

Our journey began in Hubli, and nearly 20 years ago we established our office in Bangalore. Since then, our practice has grown significantly, working pan-India and internationally, with projects in the United States and Africa, including the Anjaneya Temple in the USA.
In India, we have had the privilege of being associated with several prestigious projects, including works for the Reserve Bank of India in Mysore and projects for the Dalai Lama Trust in Bodh Gaya, along with some of the largest builder developments exceeding 10 million square feet. Over the years, our firm has built a strong reputation not only for design excellence but also for scale, and today our turnover stands among the highest in the country for an architectural practice.

One of the key things I shared was how architecture today cannot remain limited to just design. I identified a major gap in the building and interior ecosystem, which led me to expand beyond pure architecture into construction, real estate, and modular furniture.
This allows us to bring our design ideas to life with greater control over quality, ex*****on, and impact.
Today, through Modulo, we have experience centres in Bangalore, Raichur, Sangli, and Hubli, enabling us to serve clients across multiple markets with a more integrated and end-to-end approach.

Alongside this, I am also venturing into the technology space through Trabuwo Technologies Private Limited, based out of Bangalore, a startup focused on empowering small businesses by creating opportunities, access, and growth through technology.

It was truly inspiring to share the stage and exchange ideas with such an amazing entrepreneurial community.

Excited to visit Hubli after months and honored to be invited as a panelist at TiECon 2026 – North Karnataka’s largest entrepreneurship summit.
Entrepreneurship for me has never been about just building businesses. It’s about creating ideas, opportunities, and impact. From designing architectural landmarks and luxury homes, to building ventures like Kembhavi Architecture Foundation, Modulo, and my tech startup Trabuwo, the journey has been about constantly pushing boundaries and learning every single day.
Looking forward to sharing my experiences as a second-generation entrepreneur, discussing the realities of building businesses from the ground up, scaling ideas, and creating opportunities for others to grow.
Excited to be part of this conversation with such inspiring entrepreneurs.
