Some traditions don’t live in our history but in the hands of our artisans across India. ❤️

This journey is about celebrating the people behind the art and giving their legacy the spotlight it deserves. 🇮🇳

Behind every craft is someone whose name, history, and knowledge deserve as much attention as the final piece itself. Appreciation should go beyond the product and reach the people who keep these traditions alive. Their stories deserve to be remembered just as much as their work.

The real stars behind these Met Gala looks were not just the celebrities wearing them, but the artisans whose hands brought every thread, weave, motif, and embroidery to life.
Because Indian craftsmanship is never just fashion. It is patience stitched over months, traditions passed through generations, and art that deserves to be seen, named, and celebrated at the center of the global stage.

And at The Indian Artisans Haat, that is exactly what we are trying to build conversations around.
To bring master artisans and India’s disappearing crafts to the forefront, not as background labour, but as the true custodians of culture, heritage, and artistry.

These Met Gala looks felt important not just because they represented India, but because they reminded the world where true couture begins: in the hands of artisans.

To every person who visited, supported an artisan, shared a video, posted a story, brought their friends and family, or simply spent time experiencing the exhibition — we’re truly grateful.

We hope these past 10 days helped more people reconnect with the beauty of Indian craftsmanship and the incredible talent of our artisans.

Our effort has always been to create a platform that celebrates, supports, and uplifts artisans from across the country. And support from people like you is what keeps that journey going.

The exhibition may be over, but supporting handmade, local, and artisan-led work should continue beyond these 10 days.
And we just want to say one thing: thank you, Bengaluru ❤️

We’ll continue bringing more stories, more artisans, and more celebrations of Indian craft.
We hope you continue this journey with us ✨

Follow along to stay updated.
