The poor socio-economic status of weavers, lack of working capital and access to market have forced weavers to live in a vicious cycle of poverty and pessimism. aft and move towards other avenues of income. is an initiative to aggregate the carpet weavers to resurrect the declining home based carpet industry by promoting and supporting carpet weavers to enhance productivity and realize higher returns on their product through fair trade and collective action. The company is owned by carpet weavers and has right now 332 carpet weavers as its shareholders from Bandipora and Baramulla, J&K. The company is registered as Producers Company under Companies Act, 2013 by Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.
