This pair of carpet samples illustrates how texture and colour change the appearance of a design. The sample behind is mostly cut pile with loop accents while the sample in front is mostly random loop pile with cut pile accents. Art deco design for a residential project.

We are borne out of a great love for carpets possessed by our founder- Mr. Imteyaz Ahmed. Having grown up in a world of weaving handicrafts, riots of color, beautiful craftmanship and a very genuine appreciation for authenticity, he thought it was about time he shared it with you. After all, once you’ve spent your childhood looking at art, it’s hard to look away.

Which is why he have taken it upon himself to create art- for your homes. The best kind of traditional design coupled with a new age vision is the direction he want to move towards. After all, what is design if not rooted in cultural intricacy?

Dating 386 BC, the art of rug making has been the oldest profession now. More than a profession it’s a form of art and design and a way of life for some families.

The Rug Concept exists in an effort to preserve this art and making that a part of your daily lives could just be the best decision you’ve ever made.
