Established in 2005, Designs View manufacture exotic Handmade Tufted and Knotted carpets in wool & silk variety. We also manufacture Durries, Nepalese, Shaggy and Handloom carpets in unique patterns and unprecedented quality. Designs View also specializes in Manufacturing custom made, high-quality carpets for Hotels, club houses & five Star Property. Our Company believes in innovations and always experiment with the carpets regarding texture, dyeing, washing etc. We are the 3rd Generation in this Business, the company has manufacturing facilities in Bhadohi, in the Indian State of Uttar Pradesh which also has the Geographical Indication (GI) rights for carpets since 2010. We are very keen to expand our customer base further in unexplored territories and regions by giving our best and providing satisfaction to our clients and promising fair pricing for our products. Our handmade rugs are the endless efforts of the finest craftsmen with the burning desire to excel and we are determined to make our presence felt in the present competitive and technology driven world.

Our One-of-a-Kind Turkish Overdyed Patch Kilims are hand-stitched from original Turkish kilims — bringing together different patterns, colours and fragments into one completely unique piece.

No two are exactly the same.

No mass-produced repetition.

Just colour, character, craftsmanship & history.

And they don't have to stay only on the floor.
Floor → Wall → Ceiling → Feature Panel → Café → Hotel → Home → Commercial Space...

It’s a mix of materials, textures & techniques.

🧶 THE MATERIAL STORY
Viscose • Wool & Nylon • Wool & Bamboo Silk • Tencel Silk • PET Yarn

Different fibres. Different character.

Some bring softness, some lustre, some strength, and others create texture and contrast.

〰️ THE SHAPE
No straight rules here.
A free-flowing 10 × 10 ft organic form, designed more like a piece of art than a conventional rug.

🎨 THE COLOURS
Ivory • Beige • Sand • Grey • Rust • Black
Calm neutrals meet strong graphic accents — allowing every section to have its own identity while still belonging together.

When appreciation comes from someone who understands the craft at its deepest level, it means a little more. 🙏

It was truly a privilege to welcome Mr. Gaurav Sharma Ji, MD – OBEETEE, along with his team, to the Designs View stall at IMM India 2026, New Delhi.

What made the interaction particularly meaningful was the time spent understanding and appreciating the finer aspects of our work — from the design language and colour combinations to textures, intricate detailing, hand carving and, ultimately, how beautifully each idea translates into the finished rug.

For us at Designs View, a rug has never been just about reproducing a design. It is about understanding the design, respecting the material and allowing skilled hands to give it the depth, character and finish it deserves. 🧶✨

Coming from a name that has contributed so significantly to India's rug industry, the appreciation of our products and overall presentation was both encouraging and motivating for our entire team.

🤎 A RUG STORY — BHADOHI TO CHENNAI

Somewhere in Chennai, there was a space waiting for something that didn’t exist yet.

Not something picked from a shelf.
Not another standard rectangle.
Just an idea for a rug that should belong to that particular room.

📐 The space gave us the shape.
An organic 8 × 11 ft form, created around the client’s living area.

🎨 The colours became personal.
N-183 • N-224 • N-084 — selected and matched before the first yarn went into the rug.

👐 Then came the part no computer can replace.
Human hands in Bhadohi took over — shaping, tufting, finishing and perfecting every curve.

And slowly…
A drawing became a rug.
A rug travelled across India.
And an idea finally reached its home in Chennai. 🏡🤎

That is the part of bespoke work we love most.

We may make the rug, but we don't live the life that happens around it.

The morning coffee.
The conversations.
The children playing.
Friends visiting.
The quiet evenings at home.
Those chapters belong to you.

**SHE CAME TO LOOK AT RUGS.
THEN SHE FOUND THE ONE. 🤎**

You can see it in these pictures.
First, you notice the design.
Then you come a little closer.
Your hand reaches out to feel the texture.
And before you realise it, you're already imagining where it would go in your home.

That is when a rug stops being just another thing you buy.

It becomes part of a room you haven't even finished decorating yet.

This one carries the soul of a Persian-inspired design — layers of florals, paisleys and ornamental details flowing across a deep charcoal-grey ground. Warm gold, ivory, beige and softer greys break through the darker base, giving it richness without making it loud.

There is something interesting happening here.
Among hundreds of rugs, she chose to sit with this one. To touch it. To experience it.
And perhaps that's exactly how we really choose things for our homes.

🎬 REEL CONTENT — “224 SQ. FT. OF TRUST.”

It looked simple on paper.
14 ft × 16 ft.

But 224 sq. ft. leaves very little room for mistakes.

A design had to become colour.
Colour had to become yarn.
Yarn had to become craft.
And craft had to match a room we weren't standing inside.

Then came the cut. ✂️

Weeks of work…
and a decision that couldn't be undone.

Measure. Check. Cut. Finish.

Then pack it.

And because the project couldn't wait—

make it fly. ✈️

From our workshop,
to Hyderabad,
and finally to its home in Ongole.

Then the installation picture arrived.

Perfect.

Not because everything went easily.

But because everything that could have gone wrong…had been thought about before it could.

That's the unseen side of bespoke.

**You see a rug.

We remember the journey.**
