One of our exciting institutional projects in Bangalore is now nearing completion, and we are truly looking forward to seeing it come to life.

This has been a deeply engaging journey, one that allowed us to explore innovative ideas both spatially and structurally, constantly pushing the design in meaningful ways.

A key concept we explored is an inverted stacking approach. The kindergarten and primary classrooms are designed with smaller floor plates, complemented by larger, covered play areas at the lower levels, prioritizing outdoor engagement. In contrast, the higher classes are accommodated on the upper floors with larger floor plates, ensuring functional efficiency.

We are grateful to our clients, Kaushik Reddy and Pavan Reddy, and to Ram Kumar Sir of Rays Consulting Engineers, for their continued trust and collaboration throughout this journey.

A special thanks to our MEP consultants, Shalini and Nishchith of SYS.N Consultants Pvt. Ltd., for their valuable contributions.

Following an insightful presentation by Ar. organised by the IIA Trichy Centre on Thursday, we were delighted to host Ar. Girish Doshi, Ar. .morey , and Architect & Artist at our office in Trichy.

A casual evening of conversations, sharing a few of our works, and catching up over filter coffee and sweet bites of kolukattai made the visit even more special.

We are honoured to have had them spend time with us at our Trichy office.Their works inspire us and encourage us to keep learning, exploring and being inspired.

A special thanks to Ar. Sanjeev Joshi for the beautiful coasters featuring your unique, one-of-a-kind art style.

We truly enjoyed hosting them and look forward to many more such interactions

Over the past year, what began as drawings, discussions, and shared aspirations is steadily transforming into built spaces. We’re delighted to share that Phase 1 of the - spanning 40,000 sq.ft. is now nearing completion.

Set amidst a residential community, the site is defined by its natural red soil, sloping terrain, and existing jackfruit and cashew trees - elements that gave the project its character from day one. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see the classrooms, corridors, and courtyards we envisioned take physical form.

This milestone would not have been possible without the continued trust and unwavering support of Dr. .com_ and Mr. Najimudeen A. Abdulsalam. We sincerely thank them for believing in our vision and standing by the journey.

Over the past few months, our SA team had the opportunity to engage with architecture students across multiple institutions, sharing our experiences in school and institutional design. Stepping back into studios was a reminder of why this typology continues to inspire us—where ideas flow freely and budgets (thankfully) don’t exist.

At SRM Institute of Science and Technology (.rmp ), Ar. and Ar. reviewed student proposals and conducted a lecture for the 3rd-semester school design studio.

At MEASI Academy of Architecture ( ) and Sathyabama – School of Building and Environment (.official ) along with Ar. Ajith Kumar, delivered guest lectures on school design, sharing practical insights from our built and unbuilt projects.

At Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) – School of Architecture ( ), Ar. engaged with the 3rd-year studio, presenting our school and institutional works and reviewing ongoing student proposals.

Grateful to the faculty teams and institutions for the warm welcome. It was a pleasure to share in the energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm of their studios.

Delighted to share a few snapshots from the recently finished Nursery Block at , Chengalpattu

At the heart of the design is a series of vaulted roofs that gently rise to capture the surrounding mountains, while naturally ventilated, perforated elements cast shifting patterns of light and shade through the day. These porous roof systems are part of our wider exploration into how perforation can become a functional, climate-positive design strategy and not just an aesthetic choice.

Across our projects, we’ve been pushing the boundaries of how perforations can enhance both architecture and experience. It’s an evolving journey of experimentation, refinement, and finding solutions rooted in climate, context, and purpose.

Behind this effort is a committed team that shaped the project at every stage. Ar. led the design direction with support from Ar. .morais.01 and Ar. while our structural vision was made possible by the steady expertise of Er. Balasubramani and Er.

And a warm thank-you to Mr. Jeffrine Santhosh and Mrs for entrusting us with thie project . We truly appreciate the trust, freedom, and positive energy throughout the process.
