The two toned kitchen

There’s a version of this kitchen that plays it safe. Dark stone, clean lines, call it done. We weren’t interested in that version. Botanical wallpaper that commands the room, bronzed wood that warms against the dark, a chandelier that feels like sculpture.

Sacred spaces deserve the same intention as any room in the home, perhaps more. We built this puja room around what the family already loved: nine Tanjore paintings, generations of brass, a collection of idols that had never quite had a home worthy of them. The architecture became the answer to that. Floating shelves in deep walnut. A stone that changes colour between warm and cool tones depending on the light. A coffered ceiling that draws the eye up, then holds it. Designed to hold devotion and everything that comes with it.

Start with the sitar. Follow the chandelier up to the ceiling. Find the fireplace floating in the corner. Walk through the arch. This home was designed in full every room, every surface, every object chosen with the same intention. That’s the only way we know how to work.

If you’ve been here for a while, you already know our love for art runs deep. It’s never just about filling a wall. The right piece can completely change the mood of a room adding personality, sparking conversation, and quietly becoming more meaningful over time.

Few design elements evolve alongside the people who live with them quite like art 🤎✨

What draws you in isn’t always one thing.. it’s how everything comes together. Have you noticed that about design?

In this home, it’s a quiet layering of details. Brass catching the light, textiles bringing in softness and intricacy, a centre table grounding the space with a hint of Indian character🏡✨

Nothing feels too much, nothing feels out of place.

It comes together in a way that feels easy, almost unforced where each piece simply finds its place.
