Designing this director’s cabin for Harmony Homes was more than just creating a workspace — it was about echoing the values of a visionary. An Indian Institute of Technology, Madras alumnus who stops at nothing to create the most for families, he leads with integrity, quality, and an unshakable belief that homes are blessings, not just buildings.

Every line, every material, every detail here reflects that sacred spirit of excellence. Because when a brand is devoted to giving families the very best, their office too must breathe that same truth.

I am deeply grateful to have the privilege of designing for Harmony Homes. To create for someone who builds legacies of love and shelter is a blessing beyond words. It is humbling, joyous, and truly ecstatic to be part of this journey. 💫

I have been designing stress-free spaces for over two decades.
✨ To create spaces where flow happens, the architect must design in a state of flow.

This is what I call energetic architecture — design that carries intention so deeply, you can sense the space before you even step in.

✨ Here is my 7 Super Efficient Design Tips to lead a stress-free life through intentional design at work and at home:

✨ Here’s to another beautiful beginning.

On this auspicious no-moon day, we performed the Bhoomi Pooja for a mixed-use building at Ashok Nagar, Chennai.

Facing the bustling 40-feet wide 7th Avenue, this project is being built responsibly — with eco-sensitivity and avant-garde design sensibilities. This building will house swanky, warm-shell office spaces above and a serene stilt level below — a blend of energy and calm, city and spirit.

Gehry’s “junkyard” aesthetics vs Zumthor’s soulful minimalism

At first, I thought this was a junkyard. But no — it’s actually a building designed by Frank Gehry, already built, and I cannot unsee it now. When MIT sued him over a 300-million-dollar building he designed for the university that suffered from pervasive leaks, cracks, and drainage problems, he responded that such issues were “inevitable in the design of complex buildings.” But why should a building be complex? Why create problems when the whole idea is to solve them?

I’ve always questioned why convoluted shapes and complex forms are so often celebrated as great architecture. To me, Peter Zumthor’s work feels far more soulful and sensible. Think of Therme Vals: stone, light, water, silence. The emotional resonance comes not from complexity of form, but from clarity of experience. His work respects weathering, human presence, and timelessness.

I’d say, “great” architecture must be both visionary and responsible. Shapes alone don’t make architecture great—what matters is how they serve people, age with dignity, and create meaning. Gehry may dazzle, but Zumthor touches something deeper.

And every time I stand before a building that rose from a sketch on my table to concrete reality — exactly as I imagined it — I cry a little inside. That joy? It’s beyond words. It’s why I do this.
Even when nothing else makes sense.
Even when the road is steep, lonely, and unforgiving.

Architecture has always been my light — my sanctuary.
It is joyful, effortless, and generous.
It holds me together when entrepreneurship tries to tear me apart.

Because truth be told — entrepreneurship has been brutal.
It is my Achilles heel. My recurring nightmare.
A relentless storm of doubts, debts, and dark tunnels.
And yet, through it all — architecture remains my constant.
The act of creating.
Of bringing beauty and meaning into the world.
That is what keeps me alive.

I’ve survived because I wasn’t alone.
To every client who believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself…
To every team member who stayed when things got shaky…
