A residence where architectural expression is defined through material interplay—hand-carved stone walls in the living room anchor the space with rustic authenticity, juxtaposed against the seamless expanse of grey marble flooring. The amber sofa with beige undertones introduces a warm chromatic dialogue, softening the raw textures with a refined, tactile presence.

The dining ensemble exemplifies structural clarity—an elegant marble top poised on angular black steel legs, counterbalanced by soft pink chairs with slender metal frames, merging strength with subtlety. Meanwhile, the TV unit transforms into a sculptural element, where luxury white marble is rhythmically fluted, creating a dynamic play of light and shadow.

Interior design and architecture are two of the most creative and dynamic industries, but that creative potential is being threatened by the rise of Pinterest. The rise of Pinterest and other online design platforms has given clients an unrealistic expectation of what their space should look like, and created a landscape of cookie-cutter designs that are anything but original.

In the past, interior design and architecture were the domain of highly trained professionals who were able to bring their artistic vision to life. However, the rise of Pinterest has changed the landscape and now it seems that clients are more concerned with copying pictures of other people's homes than hiring a professional to create something unique and original for their space.
