Madhubani painting is one of Bihar’s most beautiful traditions -an art form deeply rooted in the culture and everyday life of Mithila.

Today, the same art is finding its way into things we can actually wear and use.

One of our clients placed an online order for a Bhagalpuri silk hand-painted dupatta, a khadi cotton dupatta, and two Madhubani-painted tote bags.

Here’s a little look at what we prepared for her. 🤍

If you’d like to choose a piece for yourself, DM us or visit our studio in Mirzapur, Darbhanga.

Client Diaries 🪔🌿

There’s something so beautiful about celebrating a new beginning while staying close to your roots.

She’s from Mithila, and for her Grih Pravesh puja, she chose a hand-painted Mithila saree from us - carrying a little piece of her culture into her new beginning. ✨

If you too want your celebrations to feel a little closer to home, we’d love to create something for you. 🌸☘️

India has always been a land of handmade treasures.

For centuries, artisans have created with their hands, imagination, and inherited knowledge.📜

From textiles and pottery to woodwork, metal craft, embroidery, and paintings, every region has its own identity and story.🐚☘️

Madhubani (Mithila) painting is one such example.

Rooted in Bihar’s culture, it carries stories and symbols passed down through generations and is now recognised with a GI tag.

But every handmade product is more than an object.

It represents an artisan, a family, years of skill, and India’s heritage.

So this Handloom Day, and every day

let’s choose handmade, support artisans, and keep our crafts alive.

Because when you buy handmade, you don’t just buy a product—you become part of its story🪷✨
