Our founder has been sitting on this post for a while. The designer-commission debate keeps coming up in our industry, and honestly, her take doesn't fit either side.

In her words:

"I'm not against commissions. I pay them, gladly, and I'll keep paying them. Designers do real work — they carry the client, the site, the timeline, the taste. That deserves to be paid for.

What I'm against is the version where the commission decides the furniture instead of the furniture deciding the furniture.

If you're a designer who works this way, my experience centre's door is open and my policy is honest."
