Set in the quiet greens of Dehradun, this home is being shaped by its surroundings - the land, the light and the lives that will soon fill it.

These early 3D visualisations alongside on-site progress offer a glimpse into how ideas are beginning to take form - slowly translating intent into space.

From everyday movement to small moments of comfort (for the family and their pets), every decision is guided by one simple aim - to create a home that simply fits the way they live.

Grateful to be invited as a speaker at an Apple conference, where Aashna shared how technology quietly supports the way we think, collaborate and design at EDC Space.
From visualisation to coordination and decision-making, the right tools allow our ideas to move faster.

A true fan of Apple, it’s always a privilege to be part of conversations that bridge design and technology so thoughtfully.

A home in Mangalore, envisioned as an oasis to return to. Rooted in material honesty and soft forms, the space is slowly taking shape through terrazzo floors, limewashed walls and gentle curves that allow the home to flow with ease.
Still unfolding, one detail at a time.

At the floor became more than a surface, it became a canvas.

What began as abstract sketches evolved into an artistic composition underfoot, intentionally random, layered and full of character.

Designed to complement the energy of the space without overpowering it, the flooring brings movement, texture and a subtle sense of play to the restaurant.

A reminder that sometimes, the most unexpected details are the ones that hold a space together.

Exposed materials are often misunderstood.
When used with intention, they bring honesty, depth and character to a space allowing craft and materiality to take centre stage.

This Misconception Monday, we’re rethinking what 'finished' really means.

Lighting is often underestimated - seen as something you add later.

But it can completely change the context of a space, shaping its mood, defining materials and influencing how comfortable it feels to be in.

This Misconception Monday, we’re sharing why lighting deserves to be part of the design conversation from the very beginning.

Misconception Mondays begins with a conversation close to our hearts - luxury.

For us at EDC, luxury isn’t defined by price or labels, but by proportion, balance and the way a space feels over time.

In this first reel, Aashna, Partner & Design Head, shares how thoughtful choices, quiet details and comfort shape what we truly consider luxurious.

This project was an opportunity to translate a global logistics story into a quiet, focused workspace for senior leadership.
Every decision from form and colour to flow and detail was shaped with intent, guided by how the team works and the clarity they need every day.

Hear from Aashna, our Partner & Design Head, as she walks through the design story.

Designing for Asia Shipping meant creating a workplace where leadership could think, pause and connect with ease.
The concept began with the core of their business — movement, translated quietly through form, texture and colour inspired by land, air and sea.

Every corner was shaped with intention: cabins that allow focus, lounges that encourage conversation and breakout zones that bring energy into the day. A space that reflects who they are globally, while supporting how they work locally.
