Behind every collection is a conversation.

Between the designer who imagines, the artisan who interprets, and the countless hours spent refining every line, curve and detail. At InHabit, craftsmanship isn’t a stage in the process, it is the process. Every piece moves through skilled hands that understand not only how to make, but when to pause, adjust and perfect.

Handcrafted in India, each piece carries the mark of its making, shaped by material knowledge, patience and a deep respect for craft.

The result is more than furniture.

It is the quiet meeting of vision and craft.

At InHabit, we believe great design begins with the material.

Since our inception, we have consciously chosen aged teak—often 50 to 100 years old—for our furniture and interiors. Naturally seasoned over decades, this wood is exceptionally stable and moisture-free, giving our pieces the strength, character, and longevity we value.

It is also a conscious choice towards more responsible design. Rather than relying on freshly sourced timber, we work with old, reclaimed and seasoned wood, giving a material with history a new life.

For us, sustainability isn’t a trend. It has been part of the way we design and build at InHabit from the very beginning.

Old wood. New stories. Built to last.

Florensha began with a fascination for Roman architecture. Rather than preserving those references as they are, the collection explores how ornamentation, proportion and craftsmanship can evolve into pieces made for contemporary spaces.

Across the collection, carved wood, layered finishes and Parsi-inspired thread embroidery come together as part of a single design language, allowing traditional craftsmanship to find a refined, contemporary expression through furniture, upholstery and detail.

Design references rarely become design outcomes.

For Florensha, the process began with observing the proportion, ornament and permanence found in classical architecture, not to replicate it, but to understand what gives it lasting presence.

Those observations were then reworked through reclaimed teak, in-house carving and handcrafted detailing, allowing familiar architectural forms to take on a new role within contemporary furniture. Every carving, every profile and every surface became part of a collection that values craftsmanship as much as the story behind it.

Florensha is not about recreating history. It is about carrying its design language forward through thoughtful interpretation.

Architecture has always told stories through its details.

With Florensha, that language is reinterpreted through timber. Roman motifs, Renaissance ornamentation and sculptural forms are carefully translated into hand-carved surfaces, where every groove, curve and relief carries architectural intent. The result is furniture that doesn’t imitate history, it continues its conversation through craftsmanship.

There are collections inspired by history.
Then there are collections that continue its conversation.

Florensha draws from the enduring presence of Roman architecture and the richness of Renaissance ornamentation, not to recreate the past, but to reinterpret its sculptural language for contemporary living. Carved forms, layered embroidery and architectural silhouettes come together in pieces that feel collected rather than produced, timeless rather than nostalgic.

Designed for interiors with depth, permanence and soul.

There are places that stay with you long after you’ve left them.

Not because of their scale, but because of their details.

Florensha is shaped by that same sensibility, where Roman architecture, ornament and craftsmanship become part of a contemporary narrative. A collection composed with the patience of something meant to endure, not simply impress.
