We used frosted glass shutters in a champagne profile because we didn’t want the unit to feel heavy in the room. We ran LED lighting through the full height hanging section because a dark wardrobe means you’re always missing something. We did a pull-out trouser rack because folded trousers on a shelf get buried. And we sized each drawer differently because not everything you own needs the same amount of space.
Every detail here has a reason.

Drop your thoughts below, would you keep it or change something?

Okay this one is important.
Your MCB and earthing are not the same thing. MCB protects against overload. Earthing protects against electric shock. You need both.
Ask your electrician for it by name.
Save this and send it to someone who is renovating right now.

Before you close this, a few more things that actually matter:

1. Always insist on ISI marked wires. It means the wire has been tested for safety and meets Indian standards.

2. Always go for copper over aluminium. Copper handles heat better, lasts longer, and is far less likely to cause a short circuit.

3. Never let your electrician use a thinner wire on a heavy appliance point to save cost. A 1.5 mm wire on an AC point will overheat over time because it simply can’t handle that much current.

Part 2 dropping soon. Wire colours, earthing, and what your electrician should never skip.
Save this. You’ll thank yourself during your next renovation.

The junction between granite and vanity is one of the most vulnerable points in a bathroom. When both surfaces are in direct contact, water seeps into the joint and stays there, which eventually affects the material.
This small gap avoids that.
1. It prevents moisture from getting trapped between granite and wood
2. It reduces chances of swelling, edge damage and laminate lifting over time
3. It avoids long term dependence on silicone, which tends to discolour and fail
4. It allows slight movement of materials, reducing stress on edges
5. It keeps the joint accessible, making cleaning easier
6. It makes future repairs or replacement simpler without damaging the vanity
7. It reduces chances of staining or deterioration at the junction
It’s a small detail, but it directly impacts durability and maintenance.
Would you try this in your home?

Save this so you don’t miss it later.
