Not everything at Milan Design Week was meant to be seen. Some of it was meant to be felt.
At Renaissance of the Real, a collaboration between , , and , we stepped into a space that asked us to slow down — quite literally.
Set within the courtyard of , the installation unfolded as a soft, breathing cocoon. Shoes off, senses heightened — you walk through textures, sound, light, and air, completely removed from the noise of the outside world.
In a week driven by spectacle, this stood out for its restraint.
No screens. No overload. Just a quiet reminder of what it feels like to be present.
Shortlisted for the Fuorisalone Award 2026, the project reinforced a growing shift — design not as object, but as a tool to recalibrate how we feel.
