A dust storm, then rain.
The kind that changes the colour of the sky and the smell of the air.

Elsa splashed through puddles as if they were made just for her. Tank, our old hound, watched from the doorway—unimpressed. I stepped out barefoot into the wet grass. And then there were samosas, because rain just begs for them.

Living on a farm makes these shifts feel deeper. The wind, the heat, the first raindrop, they’re not just weather updates. They dictate your day, slow you down, remind you who’s really in charge.

But lately, these shifts feel abrupt: dust storms that barrel in before the rain, temperature swings that make your bones ache. It feels like climate change at our doorstep.

Maybe that’s the reminder we need, to live in harmony, to notice, to adapt, to protect. To make nature part of our daily life, not something we escape to, but something we belong to.

Drumsticks from our own tree 🌿
Also known as moringa, these long green pods are one of the most generous gifts of nature—nutrient-rich, deeply healing, and surprisingly easy to grow.

Moringa thrives in hot climates, which makes it beautifully suited to Delhi’s dry summers. Once established, the tree is low maintenance, drought-resistant, and offers not just pods, but also edible leaves packed with vitamins, iron, and antioxidants.

We’ve been harvesting in small batches—enough for sambhars, curries, and the occasional drumstick stir-fry that tastes just like childhood.

It’s one of those trees that keeps giving—quietly, consistently, with very little fuss. Just like nature often does.

A tomato from our garden 🍅

Mildly tart, mildly sweet, perfectly sun-kissed, and full of promise.

There’s something very grounding about growing our own food. Watching something so simple take shape from seed to fruit, just makes you slow down, pay attention, and marvel at how little it really takes to feel joy.

Gardening, for us, is a kind of quiet rebellion. A return to old ways. A small, stubborn act of hope and sustainability.

And the reward? A tomato that tastes mildly tart, mildly sweet, perfectly sun-kissed, and full of promise.

For a while now, we have been cooking, dreaming, and quietly gathering our ingredients — hosting slow meals on the farm for friends, artists, and the kind of souls who linger a little longer at the table.

It’s been deeply personal. And it still is.

But now, we’re ready to open the doors just a little wider — to let more stories in.

Introducing the Paprika Tokri Supper Club, an intimate dining experience hosted on our farm in Delhi. Sometimes under the stars, sometimes indoors by candlelight — always with intention.

Our food holds memory. It carries emotion.
It’s shaped by what we’ve inherited and everything we’ve picked up along the way. A timeline of flavour, feeling, and the people who’ve passed through our lives — some to stay, some just in passing. And now, we’d love to share it with you.
