Nonsense Curry X Urban Lilith
Hey there Stellar beings, happy Wednesday. In todays drop, we are featuring the Womb red earrings and the Urban whim leather bag crafted by Urban Lilith.
Culottes are my favorite type of trouser that leaves that little wiggle room to play with socks and boots. So we paired the trousers with ankle boots that cut at the perfect length of leg to trouser ratio. 🦵:👖 the red blazer was a thrift find that we paired with a corset styled belt. I also love keeping long ribbons and long sashes on hand because it creates movement in a getup when it dangles and hangs. Keeping with the deep colored theme, we went with a dark lip. The accessories of the maroon earrings and statement bag are the perfect distribution of color.
Ps. There is such a clash in perspectives when it comes to sustainability, animal cruelty and leather products. When In reality there are 6.5 billion meat eaters, where the animal skin isnt consumed and ends up in landfills. I wouldnt consider sourcing and making small units the lesser evil which implies usage of existing waste, especially if not mass produced. Its important to also note the tanning process, whether vegan or otherwise coz the latter is toxic to the environment.
Lets not pretend that we dont all live in so many parallel and sometimes contradictory realities where if we apply conscious living to one realm, there are factors in our lifestyle that defeat its purpose. For instance to explain in lay man's terms - a person leading a conscious life, commutes by flight or uses Air conditioning in their homes that contributes to say global warming. We're not out here living in huts making fire abrading sticks, not using power and the resources and comforts around us. And are definitely not leading 100% sustainable lives coz its just not our reality. We can agree to disagree but lets also be real with ourselves.
