A thoughtful interplay of light, texture, and form brought to life through this 3D visualization.

The vertical fluting adds a gentle rhythm to the walls, while soft curves and clean edges keep the space balanced and easy on the eyes.
We imagined this as a space you’d naturally settle into where workspace, storage, and display flow seamlessly without feeling divided.

With a restrained palette and softly layered lighting, the room stays warm through the day and comforting at night—simple, functional, and made to be lived in.

This kitchen 3D is built around how the space will be used, not just how it will appear.

Nothing competes for attention, yet every detail holds its ground—from the way cabinetry aligns perfectly across walls to the subtle warmth introduced through wood textures. The palette remains soft, allowing the space to feel settled rather than staged.

The island becomes more than a functional block—it’s where the space gathers. A place for small pauses, shared moments, and the rhythm of everyday life.

Glass-front cabinets and open shelves break the uniformity just enough, adding layers without overwhelming the composition. Meanwhile, integrated appliances and concealed storage ensure that practicality never disrupts the visual flow.

Light moves gently across surfaces, highlighting textures instead of creating contrast—making the entire space feel calm, consistent, and lived-in.

The Calm Cove by Navrasa

Located in Tulip Yellow, Gurugram, this 1,704 sqft home for Varun and Shalini is designed to feel calm, warm, and easy to live in.

Soft greens, warm wood, and clean neutrals set the tone, while curved ceiling details add a subtle flow across the space. The dining area, anchored by an arched bar unit, becomes the heart of the home—balancing function with character.

The living and private spaces follow a simple, layered approach—focused on comfort, light, and everyday usability.

A home that feels as good as it looks.

LIVING & DINING detailed Walkaround 🏠✨

Here is a closer look at the material palette and design layers that bring this space to life:
• The Bar Unit: A refreshing Pastel Green PU finish paired with Fluted Acrylic panels and a crisp White Quartz countertop. The internal profile lighting adds that perfect evening glow.
• The Living Area: We used a Sandstone-finish feature wall to add an organic, earthy texture that grounds the room against the charcoal grey sofa.
• The TV Console: Kept it sleek and minimal with a white marble-finish backdrop and a floating wooden ledge to maintain an airy feel.
• The Ceiling: A custom wavy profile near the window to soften the straight lines of the room and catch the natural light.
• The Finishes: A thoughtful mix of PU polish, high-grade laminate, acrylic, and natural stone textures.

Nature doesn’t follow straight lines. Neither does this home.👇🏼

The defining architectural feature of this LIVING & DINING area is the fluid false ceiling that runs through — a sweeping, multi-level form finished in warm white and lit with amber cove lighting that transforms the ceiling into a glowing, sculptural canopy. It visually connects both spaces while giving each its own distinct character.

In the living room, a custom sandstone feature wall — depicting oversized banana leaves in a tone-on-tone finish — is backlit with integrated LEDs, creating a dramatic focal point that doubles as a work of art. The furniture palette is grounded in warm neutrals — a curved grey sofa, rust-toned accent cushions, a round marble-topped coffee table on a solid walnut base — layered with a hand-tufted multicolour circular rug that introduces pattern and warmth.

Material palette: Warm walnut veneer, polished marble flooring, sandstone, sage green, brass hardware, fluted glass, and velvet upholstery.

In this dining and bar transition, we leaned into the beauty of bespoke craftsmanship. Look closely at the dining table—the rhythmic, vertical ribbing of the base creates a play of light and shadow that grounds the entire room.
We paired this with a hand-carved teak wood frame, its soft, rounded corners mirroring the architectural arch of the sage-green bar unit.
Even the ceiling joins the conversation! The “wave” layers aren’t just a design statement; they add a soft, organic volume to the space that feels like a gentle hug. It’s a room built on the philosophy that every curve should have a purpose.

When we sat down to design this dining and bar area, we wanted to move away from the usual boxy rooms and hard angles. The goal was to create a space that feels like it’s in constant motion, where the design itself invites you to slow down and stay a while.

Points:

• The Flow: We traded sharp corners for a layered, “cloud” ceiling. It’s a softer way to define the room and makes the transition from dinner to drinks feel effortless.
• The Anchor: The sage-green arched bar isn’t just storage—it’s a built-in focal point that gives the corner a sense of permanence and a warm, inviting glow.
• The Details: We balanced the clean, minimalist lines with tactile textures, like the ribbed fluting on the table and the botanical mural, to keep the vibe “homey” rather than sterile.

At the end of the day, it’s about how the room feels when you’re actually in it—everything from the curves to the lighting is designed to make the transition from dinner to drinks feel completely natural.
