Transformation Tuesday:
Handbag store edition! When a brand shares their story, we bring it to life.
We transformed a 150 sq ft space under the staircase at Galleria Market, Gurgaon, into a beautiful handbag store. Planning, 3D design, and ex*****on all came together in just 25 days, beating the clock on high commercial costs.

For over 5 years, Nukkad has been evolving with us — a concept we’ve carried in our hearts long before it became a space.

At House of Kian, we don’t just design spaces — we design experiences. ✨
And Nukkad is one of those stories that wrote itself.

Inspired by the 90s nostalgia we millennials grew up living…
When landlines were our only lifeline, when plans were made with one call, and meet-ups always happened at the nukkad of the street — the real social network of our childhood. ☎️🌆

Nukkad is born from those corners where friendships began, secrets were shared, and time felt slower.

Our design draws from the vibrant chaos of 90s Delhi streets —
from Fakirchand ki Dukaan at CP, to the kebab lanes, to the Paharganj bustle, to the iconic Sarojini–Lajpat vibe.
These memories shaped us, so we shaped a space around them.

And of course, the gaming nostalgia had to be a part of it. 🎮
Those Mario–Contra arcade parlours where our pocket money turned into precious coins and priceless joy — they inspired an entire layer of the Nukkad story.

Think desi streets, thadas, chaurahas, aunties gossiping, friends laughing —
Nukkad brings all of it back, in a way that feels both familiar and fresh.

Because some memories deserve a place you can walk into. 🤍
