A new residence is about to take shape at Tingkhong, Dibrugarh, Assam.

A thoughtfully planned contemporary duplex bungalow by Emerge Design Portico.

Designed with a minimal and elegant architectural approach, this upcoming home balances openness, functionality, and comfort across two spacious levels. The Ground Floor spans approximately 2000 sq.ft and features an inviting entry porch leading into a dramatic double-height living and dining space, along with two bedrooms, kitchen, internal staircase, store, puja room, a dedicated front garage, and a relaxing rear verandah.

The First Floor, covering around 2050 sq.ft, is planned around a cozy family sitting area and includes 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets, utility area, balconies on all sides, and an open front terrace that enhances light, ventilation, and outdoor living experience.

A refined expression of simplicity and purpose, this ongoing residential project embraces a minimalistic and sober elevation design that balances aesthetics with functionality. Located in Dharapur, Guwahati, the structure is thoughtfully planned to cater to both rental and personal living needs. The ground floor, with a plinth area of 1040 sq. ft., efficiently accommodates two compact 1BHK rental units, designed for comfort, privacy, and practical urban living.

Above, the first floor unfolds into a more spacious 1330 sq. ft. residence for the owner, offering a serene and personalized living environment. Clean lines, subtle tones, and a clutter-free architectural language define the elevation, creating a timeless visual appeal while ensuring low maintenance and efficient use of space. Welcome to our elegant G+3 residential building in Nigajipam, Ambikagiri Nagar, Guwahati—a thoughtfully crafted home offering three independent family units, each spanning approximately 2,765 sq ft across four thoughtfully designed levels. The architectural journey began with two distinct exterior concepts—a sleek contemporary minimal option and a refined classical design—before the client opted for the latter, captivated by its dignified symmetry, ornate cornices, traditional columns, pilasters, and richly detailed window surrounds that together evoke a timeless aesthetic.

The facade features premium masonry and ornamental trims, creating a stately street presence that harmonizes beautifully with the low- to mid-rise character of Ambikagiri Nagar.

We are humbled and blessed to be associated with the upcoming Puroshottam Jagannath Tirtha Kshetra, a monumental spiritual project set to begin construction from April 30th, 2025, at Tungi, Brahmandia in Bankura District, West Bengal.

Rising to a majestic 85 feet in height, this temple is being envisioned and developed by the Utkal community, known for their deep-rooted devotion and commitment to cultural preservation. More than just a temple, this sacred space is designed to become a holistic center of faith, culture, and community engagement, benefiting around 250 nearby villages.

As Emerge Design Portico, we feel truly honored to lend our architectural vision to such a spiritually enriching and socially significant endeavor. The design seeks to blend traditional Odia temple architecture with thoughtful spatial planning to create a timeless structure that will inspire generations to come.
