We didn’t just wanted to create a layout plan, we reimagined the flow between indoors and outdoor, creating a seamless transition from living to terrace. We weren’t just designing the space, we were designing a way of life. That meant choosing materials that breathe and play nice with pets.
This is an apartment in which we are renovating the living spaces, dining, kitchen and balcony. The client’s ask is to make it more functional, pet friendly, more open and be able to entertain.
The apartment has a huge outdoor space linking the drawing, living and kitchen which we wanted to act like a courtyard space with its open plan living being the fulcrum.
We divided the vast living area into zones. A living space with a huge sectional, a reading nook with library on the other end and bifold glass wall to access the courtyard.
We layered the space with Indoor outdoor fabrics that shout spa but scream scratch proof and stain proof. Chose the right it’s that are tightly woven to make them scratch resistant and easy to clean. Created a terrace garden and seating which makes the family feel living in a villa unlike an apartment.
No flashy gimmicks, no disposable decor, just enduring design that allows this family and their pets live peacefully and happily every single day.
