A few design discoveries from my visit to Design Democracy 2026, Hyderabad. ✨
Every stall had a different story to tell—but these were some of the experiences that stayed with me.
At Mazda Art, I discovered portraits intricately created using American diamonds, with the option of using real diamonds based on the client’s preference. It was fascinating to see portraiture interpreted in such an unusual and luxurious form.
I also had a lovely interaction with the team representing Gauri Khan Designs and enjoyed learning more about their approach to contemporary luxury.
Nirvania Elements caught my attention with their striking statement pieces crafted from metal, wood and stone—materials brought together in unexpected and artistic ways.
The Inhabit offered another perspective through its end-to-end approach to interiors, creating spaces that feel complete and thoughtfully connected.
And finally, my personal favourite—Rosa Bagh.
Their antique-inspired, elegant and deeply luxurious furniture felt closest to my own design sensibility. I have always been drawn to homes with history, character and soul. Creating refined heritage homes—with the richness of the past interpreted for the present—is the direction I would love to explore more deeply through ARK Interiors.
Design exhibitions are not merely about discovering products. They remind us of what we are naturally drawn to—and the kind of stories we want to create through our own work.
