Lagavi Spotlight: One City at a Time
This time, we’re in Bengaluru 🤍

A city that runs on coffee and curiosity, where every neighbourhood has its own dining personality and every table tells a different story. Bengaluru’s F&B scene is considered, creative, and impossible to pin down.

Here’s a glimpse into Bengaluru’s restaurant scene, served on Lagavi 🍽️

Calm Coffee – Slow mornings and serious coffee in the heart of Jayanagar. Lagavi’s textured stoneware pieces hold every quiet, considered cup with intention.

ChayaChyll – A cheerful neighbourhood café that makes every visit feel like dropping in on a friend. Lagavi wares bring that same warmth to every table they’re set on.

La Roserie – Fresh, ingredient-led plates in a light-filled space. Lagavi’s clean, simple bowls let the food do exactly what it needs to.

Nombre Coffee – Where latte art meets craft drinkware and every pour is a small act of precision. Lagavi pieces feel right at home in that attention to detail.

Purpose Matcha + Coffee House – Matcha, coffee, and a menu built around mindful hospitality. Lagavi tableware carries that intention from the first course to the last sip.

PHURR – Playful, personality-packed, and unapologetically fun. Every detail in this space is deliberate, and the drinkware is no different.

Copper + Cloves – A community-first, plant-based café designed with wellness at its core. Lagavi’s handcrafted pieces bring the same grounded intention to their tables.

Ebisu - Fine Japanese Cuisine – Japanese precision in the heart of Brigade Road. Lagavi’s minimal, textured vessels mirror the quiet craft behind every service moment.

Off the clock, we still can’t stay away from good ceramics ☕

Every desk has its own lunch story, its own bowl, its own little ritual that makes the workday feel a bit more like home. This is ours - six people, six favourites, one table we all somehow end up gathering around 🍽️

Turns out the pieces we make for you are also the pieces we reach for ourselves 🤍

Some tablescapes don’t borrow from a mood board, they borrow from memory. From the land it sits on, the hands that shaped it, and the stories that have been told around tables like it for generations 🌾

This one sits in an open field. Hay bales draped in linen for seating. A braided grass rope running the entire length of the table like a living centerpiece. Bread sculpted into flowers and folk figures, standing upright among beeswax candles anchored in river stones. Deep terracotta plates against white linen, with the open countryside stretching out behind it all.

Designed by Mutabor Flower Service and Vadym Keller rooted in Ukrainian folklore, this is a table that knows exactly where it comes from. And that specificity is what makes it impossible to look away from 🤎

Eleven designers. One object. Centuries of shared culture.

S—3’s debut at Milan Design Week asked a deceptively simple question - what happens when you give the chopstick to the people who grew up eating with one and ask them to start from scratch? The answers range from pasta-shaped to titanium-engineered, from twig-carved to built like a musical instrument.

The best design doesn’t always chase what’s new. Sometimes it turns toward what’s already in your hand🥢

Something is shifting in the world of the table. The florals are giving way to linen. The dining room is giving way to the pitch, the quarry, the wheat field. The centrepiece is sometimes just bread and butter — and somehow that’s the most interesting thing on the table.

2026’s tablescape trends are less about decoration and more about intention. Our full edit, swipe through 🤍  (Lagavi, Tablescape trends, Tablescape trends 2026, Maximalist Tablescapes, Immersive tablescapes, Bread and butter Tablescape, Table as Art)

There’s something about shooting outdoors that a studio can never quite replicate.

The light came in sideways, the wind moved things around, coffee went cold somewhere between the second and third setup. No studio can replicate the way natural light sits on ceramic - the way it catches a rim, softens a glaze, makes a cup look like it belongs exactly where it is.

The outdoors has a way of making everything feel more alive. 🤍

There are people who set beautiful tables. And then there is laila gohar , who treats the table as a canvas, food as a medium, and every gathering as an opportunity to make something worth remembering 💛

Born in Cairo, based in New York, working with Prada, Hermès, and everyone in between. Her butter sculptures, her pigeon table, her Gohar World tableware universe - all of it points to the same belief: that beauty lives in the everyday, and the table is where it shows up most honestly. This is our edit of her world.
