🇮🇳 Tiranga. Tradition. Transformation. 🇮🇳

HSC Jammu took Har Ghar Tiranga to Village Lamberi, District Rajouri marked by enthusiastic participation of the artisan community.

The programme focused on artisan mobilization for Pehchaan Card registration, promotion of Har Ghar Tiranga, plantation and distribution of saplings, and a soulful rendition of Vande Mataram. 🌱🇮🇳

CDAP organised at Govt. Hr. Sec. School Domana(Jammu), inspiring students through live demonstrations of Painting, Soft Toys, Resin Art and Crochet. A special plantation drive, led by the Joint Director, J&K School Education Department, the School Principal and HSC officials, added a green touch to the event. 🌱🎨✨

🌱 Plantation Drive by Handicrafts Service Centre, Jammu

HSC Jammu organised a plantation drive on 28th July 2026 in the Paloura area of Jammu. Ten saplings were planted by officers, officials, and dignitaries present on the occasion.

Sh. Chander Mohan Sharma, noted environmentalist, attended as the Chief Guest, while Sh. Ashok Sharma, social activist, graced the event as the Guest of Honour.

The participants reaffirmed their commitment towards environmental conservation and a greener future 🌿

🌱 Plantation Drive by Handicrafts Service Centre, Jammu

HSC Jammu organised a plantation drive on 28th July 2026 in the Paloura area of Jammu. Ten saplings were planted by officers, officials, and dignitaries present on the occasion.

A Chaupal was organized to engage directly with the artisan community and spread awareness about various welfare and developmental schemes of the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles.

“Awareness today, empowerment tomorrow”

A Chaupal was organized at Village Mankote, Block- Mankote, District- Poonch (J&K) to create awareness among handicraft artisans about various Government schemes and initiatives aimed at their socio-economic development. During the interaction, artisans were informed about the benefits of artisan registration, Pehchaan Cards, market linkage opportunities, digital platforms, and skill development programs.

A Chaupal was organized at Village Dhargloon to disseminate information about the welfare and developmental schemes of the DC (Handicrafts).

From threads to textures, every craft told a story at the CDAP event organized by HSC Jammu at Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Taloor (Distt. Samba).
The demonstrations of Cane & Bamboo craft, Phulkari, Crochet and Hand Block Printing highlighted the richness of traditional craftsmanship and inspired participants towards skill-based learning and creativity✨
