25 ft frontage is not a creativity problem.
It’s a discipline problem.
Most houses on narrow plots fail because designers panic.
They add grooves, glass, cladding, curves—anything to look “premium”.
Result? Heat gain, maintenance headaches, and a facade that ages badly.
This 25 × 48 ft house does the opposite.
• Controlled balcony depth to avoid visual clutter
• Brick mass for thermal stability, not decoration
• Recessed openings for shade, not drama
• No fake stone, no ACP, no west-facing glass circus
Is it flashy? No.
Will it photograph well after 10 years? Yes.
Will it cost less to maintain and live in calmly? Absolutely.
Good architecture on small plots isn’t about standing out.
It’s about not failing quietly over time.
Design should make sense first.
Everything else is noise.
