Yali — the mythical temple guardian carved in wood.
Fierce, protective, and timeless.
A rare fragment carrying centuries of faith and craftsmanship.

The Yali is a powerful mythical creature of Hindu temple tradition, combining the strength of the lion, elephant, and other animals. Often placed at entrances and pillars, it symbolised protection, vigilance, and divine authority. This fragment preserves the bold stylisation and expressive form characteristic of South Indian sacred wood carving, bearing natural wear that reflects age, ritual use, and devotion.

Lord Ganesha sits calmly on his tiny companion, the rat — a quiet reminder that true wisdom knows no size.
In Hindu belief, the rat represents restless desire and ego, and Ganesha riding it shows mastery over both. He teaches us that even the smallest forces can carry great purpose when guided with compassion.

This hand-carved wooden panel captures that timeless idea — strength without pride, power with humility.
Every chisel mark holds devotion, patience, and the touch of an old tradition meant to be lived with, not just admired.

A sacred presence for a thoughtful home or a discerning collection.

Mother and child painting.
In a humble kitchen, a child reaches out to the world carefree, curious, full of dreams.
Behind her, a mother pauses, watching with quiet pride and endless love.

Mother and child painting, maternal bond, Indian rural life art, emotional realism painting, village kitchen scene, motherhood artwork, nostalgic Indian art, domestic life painting, warmth and love art, figurative Indian painting, family bond artwork

Some stories don’t need words.
They live in glances, gestures, and the warmth of home.

This is not just a scene of daily life; it’s a reminder that love often lives in ordinary moments where warmth, work, and wonder quietly meet.

Krishna.
I found this incredible wooden carving of Lord Krishna, and I honestly couldn’t take my eyes off it. It’s not just a statue, it’s a moment frozen in time.

Look at the flow of the clothes and the calmness on his face, it’s like the wood itself is swaying to his tune.
In a world full of factory-made things, holding something carved by human hands, with so much patience and devotion, feels different.

It feels alive.

This piece deserves a home where it will be cherished as an heirloom, not just decoration.

It’s rare to find wood carving this fine and expressive these days.

Tradition is in the carving.
The future is in the paint work.
This isn’t just a sculpture;
it is a conversation between the past and the present.
The shape is timeless a simple human head, carved from solid wood just as artisans have done for centuries.
But the skin? That belongs to today.
Abstract, colorful, and bold.
It shows how we are all a mix of simple roots and complex lives.
Perfect for a home that respects heritage but loves the contemporary.
A unique addition to any serious art collection in India.

A beautiful fragmented antique wooden Krishna.
This isn’t just a statue, It’s a whisper from the past, a beautiful, time touched fragment of Lord Krishna.

Look closely at his face. Even after all these years, with all the cracks and missing pieces, his gentle, knowing smile remains.
His arms, which once might have held the divine flute, are gone, but you can still feel the lila the divine play in his graceful pose.

This piece has seen seasons change and heard countless prayers.
It’s not “perfect,” and that’s exactly what makes it so special. It’s a survivor, carrying generations of devotion in its grain.
A truly rare find for a collector who doesn’t just see an object, but feels its history and soul.
