A defining highlight of this home is the library, which serves as Parvathy’s absolute safe space. Understanding her life of constant movement, we conceptualised a modular, β€œTetris-inspired” shelving system, creating a minimalist geometric framework that feels lightweight yet substantial. Because the units are modular, they can be completely reconfigured, reshaped, or moved to a totally different space in the future without losing their character.

Collage in the Sky stands as proof that luxury in architecture is not about excess; it is all about alignment. It is about utilising existing textures, honouring personal history, and creating a layout that truly understands its inhabitant.

Collage in the Sky is a Home with a Repurposed Legacy.

Parvathy's parents' original bed frame and a cherished cot she has owned since the age of eight were perfectly integrated into the bedrooms. To elevate these sentimental heirlooms into a sophisticated, premium aesthetic, we executed a subtle material refinement. This transformation lends the pieces a commanding visual weight and an enduring, timeless presence within the space.

High above the city, the balcony becomes more than a place to pause; it becomes a sanctuary.

Designed around Parvathy's need for privacy and calm, the space gently turns away from the outside world while inviting nature inward. Framed by lush greenery and uninterrupted views, this elevated garden softens the edge between architecture and landscape, transforming an ordinary apartment balcony into a peaceful refuge above the rhythm of the city.

More than 35 carefully nurtured plants transform this balcony into a living ecosystem.

From fruit-bearing mango and citrus trees to cascading foliage, every plant reflects Parvathy's enduring relationship with nature. Here, greenery is not an ornament; it is part of everyday life. The balcony extends the home's living experience beyond its walls, creating a tranquil retreat where architecture, landscape, and lifestyle exist in complete harmony.
