Fabulous - Heritage Bungalow We spend out 3 days 2 nights at this Heritage Bungalow Homestay. It was a rejuvenating experience with taste of local cuisine all made and served to perfection. Mrs Saraswathi Madam, a strong young lady who took very good care of us. The place has a rich experience with lots of antique furniture and craft. Read a book - The Scent of Pepper by Kavery Nambisan, must read when you stay here. Beautiful garden and a dip in pond is must a do thing. Fabulous property well maintained. Thank you! We came from Chennai and landed at a scintillating beauty at School Thota. It's so serene and calm with nature at your care. Beautiful rooms to stay and a fabulous scrumptious food with lots of love from Mrs Saraswathi Maam and Mr Kushalappa. Must visit this place very often. Most beautiful place we would ever ask for. It is o clean, neat, and full of heritage. Each corner has a story to share. We as a family felt at home and would definitely visit again.

This has been a truly heartwarming experience.
The warmth and charm of the house and estate was clearly reflective of Aunty Saraswathi. Our stay, was especially special because of our family’s love for old town charm and antiques.

Great Experience! We have travelled a bit and stayed in many properties including hotels, ArBNB, Homestay. This stay has to be one of best we have stayed. Mrs Saraswathi Aunty made an out of the world effort to host us, comfort us and provide excellent home cooked Kodava food. We felt like coming back to our parents’ house. Great Experience! This was our 1st home-stay experience and we thoroughly loved it. The property is so well maintained, the home just feels like it should – a home and the authentic local cuisine is the cherry on top. Mrs Saraswati Aunty in super warm person and felt like I am meeting one of my own aunts. This is truly a vintage getaway and makes us travel into time. The character of the house has been maintained like old times which makes this stay very unique. We are definitely coming back for more days.

School Thota is an amazing place!
Tucked in the middle of a sprawling coffee estate it offers peace and tranquillity to a traveller seeking a quiet stay. The bungalow retains its splendour from the past while room have the classic ambiance. Food is excellent! Mrs Saraswathi Aunty is a wonderful person who always takes care of your every needs. Staff are helpful and very efficient. Over all the stay was a fantastic experience.

Nature’s Lovers Paradise!
School Thota was by far the best homestay experience that we had. The aesthetics, ship sharpness and tastefully decorated ‘Home’ will give any five-star facility a run for their work. It is a nature lovers paradise. The experience of staying inside the plantation forest was most enthralling.
The food was exquisite, prepared by cooks personally trained by Mrs Saraswathi Ayiappa. We were highly expressed and amazed at the high energy level and enthusiasm of Mrs Saraswathi Ayiappa.
After our memorable stay, we would say – once is not enough, we will come back soon!
