Potter's Shed was born from a dream. The realization that village potters possess the skill to turn clay into useful items suggested the possibility that disadvantaged children could be similarly transformed. Our potters have become highly skilled artisans, and it is through their gifts that Potter's Shed is able to help these children. Potter’s Shed provides tuitio

n and an annual medical examination for children of ages 3 to 18 studying in local schools. Today, many children from economically disadvantaged families are educated by the Potter’s Shed. We aim to educate many more children from the profits generated by the sale of pottery. Every piece of pottery purchased will help place more children in school. Potter’s Shed is aided by donations from people who want to make a difference in the lives of children. We appreciate this assistance because, with it, we are able to increase the number of young people who benefit from the advantages of a formal education.
